Love our newly renovated apartment. Having a balcony is awesome, lots of sunlight and fresh air! We had mice inside our kitchen the first few weeks due to holes that had not been covered up but maintenance took care of it in a snap!
We owned our home for 38 years, and due to health reasons, the time came to rethink responsibilities of a homeowner 101 ! We made a decision to downsize, however; wanted to relocate on the island to be near our family. Northgate was #1 on our list. From the date we completed our application, through today - we have had the highest quality of service from the office staff, and our maintenance team is 1st class! . Our property is beautifully manicured, and we are proud to call this our home!

Hands down the absolute worst place I have EVER lived. Brace yourself for passive aggressive, threatening letters on a regular basis. The entire staff, office ladies and maintenance people go out of their way to find reasons to scold you for whatever rule you apparently breaking. They have curfews on every shared amenity which littleraly defeats the only perk of living in a complex. Alarm will go off if you dare use the gym after 10 and no do laundry after 8pm. Which by the way.. one washer, one dryer... for the ENTIRE building. Thats 12 units all sharing one washer/dryer. $1.75 per cycle for both. And believe me, people will tell on you the first second they get. This is essentially a retirement community and you will be sent to the principals office because someone once again tatttled on you.
