Nice neighborhood, and a great place to live. I moved into my apartment about a year ago and the experience has been great. Spacious apartments and all utilities included in rent.
The apartment was listed at one price, but when you went to see the apartment, the price went up a whole lot. The manager said that was what the rent was going for "that day". So it depends on what day you choose to go see the apartment. It it can go up at any time they want. Not good
Decent place, they try to keep it pretty clean outside.
Appliances, flooring, tile are all least expensive and are different in each apartment.
The bathrooms dont have vents, so theres a black mold problem.
Ongoing ant problem in the townhouses and they do have a weekly exterminator, but you have to call ahead when you have a problem and hope its close to the scheduled day. They dont treat automatically.
Theres no pad under the carpet (if your unit even has it), flooring was not installed well.
The playground is from the 60s and in poor repair, the workout room has a bowflex, a treadmill and maybe a couple of other things. The business center is one computer in the basement and the off-leash dog area is very small.
They do not appear to enforce leash guidelines or dog waste management (they do supply poo bags and trash cans, but not everyone uses them).
They are notorious with residents for functioning on the smallest possible staff, meaning that youre going to wait a very long time for maintenance or paperwork and you have to keep going in to remind them. Its not the staffs fault, theyre nice, but the company wont hire more people.
There is rubber bathroom molding where there should be baseboards in places, the sinks are often clogged because the plumbing is quite old.
They say they have security guards, but Ive been here quite a while and have never seen one.
If a washer in the laundry room breaks, you have to deal with the vendor. The office doesnt do any of that.
