What Renters Like and Dislike About Shillington

My neighborhood is near the city which gives a lot of population. There is not much to do in this area other than going out to eat.

We have a big yard so we can play games. We have a big mall that we can go shopping with the amount of money we have

I have a beautiful view. It is an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The police are next door. The building is very secure and i feel safe living here.

Something unique is that that we have a frienlts restaurant across the street so if u ever feeel like u don't want to cook there is a perfect place across the street

Even though it's a small town of one square mile, you might still see something unique when you rent an apartment in Shillington. For instance, there's an annual event during Easter that showcases the work of Pysanky artists who draw patterns on eggs using wax, which protects the covered areas when they apply the dye. The results can be very intricate and beautiful. Less than ten minutes from any Shillington apartment, as well as many surrounding boroughs, is the 665-acre, Nolde Forest State Park. As you walk along scenic trails within the park, you can access streams, ponds and the historic, Tudor-style Nolde mansion, which features an adjacent native wildflower garden.

Travel 10-12 miles from your Shillington apartment and visit the Daniel Boone Homestead near Reading. The site includes the Boone House, six other 18th century buildings, a lake and recreational facilities.
