Terrible quality. Walls are paper thin, you hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do. And more then a few apartments are overloaded with 5 or 6 adults, plus children in a 2 or 3 bedroom unit. Kids running wild, parents won't keep them in line, despite numerous letters left by management. STAINS on the walls of a brand new unit. Had to do half a dozen work orders to get the apartment livable when I first moved in.
Terrible maintenance/staffing. Lease states no shoes, always clean carpets and their maintenance team never wears shoe covers! Then they expect you, the tenant, to pay to clean the carpets that they ruined. Lousy neighbors for the most part (bikes in hallways, garbage everywhere, things hanging on balconies, loud all night). These are not luxury apartments by any means. As others have stated, almost no money goes back into these apartments. Fences were put up for the dumpsters over a year ago and still not being used. Does not have ample parking (some nights we have to park in other lots and walk across the non-lit street to get to our building where drivers SPEED up the hill). The cheapest apartments are nearly $1000 a month. Owners rarely clean up after their dogs. Snow removal is a bare minimum in the winter, Ive been plowed into my spot on more than one occasion. Find something nicer in the Wexford area, it would be worth it...
I moved to the area due to a job relocation. I was very happy with the the location. It's only 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and very close to shopping and grocery in the area ! The apartments are very clean a management is quick to resolve any maintenance issue that I had. I was only in town for 11 months due to my job and was relocated to Texas after that. Or I would have stayed. Prices are lower than a lot of other apartments in the area. there's no pool or club house that you are paying extra for here
