what ever I needed I usually received or its equivlilent.
With ALL the bad reviews you would think they would take some action but management is completely apathetic. Same people in the office with poor customer skills and a Manager there who hides in her office. They've upgraded many of the amenities in the building but that's just because the building is so old and they've fallen behind other buildings in the area. Their response to these bad reviews is "contact us." No need to contact you. You can read what is needed. Do something about it. The rent is high and the water, sewer, and trash feed are exorbitant. They provide no accounting of how this is calculated and they charge a fee on your bill to provide the bill. Crazy! Simple corrections - be accountable, explain the fees, provide quality maintenance, have management provide communications to tenants about what they are doing to improve things or respond to complaints/suggestions.
The expensive rent is not worth at all, all the staff had very bad attitude, I cannot believe they are working on the customer facing jobs. They placed thousands of rules for you and required you to follow, but never solve any problem for you, which is absolutely unfair, who do they think they are. The is the worst place I have ever lived in my life.
Anything that the staff here at place one can fail at, they do so without hesitation. I have regretted moving into this building since the end of the first month. The problems, though numerous, began simply enough. The door sticks, that cabinet hangs crooked, this shelf was in disrepair when we got here. So of course we fill out a round of maintenance requests. They send a guy, he fixes half the problems and just signs off on the other half. A few months in, the problems escalate to things like my rent payment getting processed incorrectly and getting a late fee upwards of $100 as a result. And then we found out about the bed bugs. There was no communication between the staff and the residents of my apartments and I had to take a day off of work because they tried to do the first treatment with the pets still in the house. And now they are insisting that the apartment was inspected and cleared when in fact no one so much as came by and I've been home all day long. DO NOT RENT HERE.
Avoid Place One Apartments at all costs!
We have been living at this place for 6 months and to date we have made 22 work orders! 22! I've never lived in a place where so many things broke down and management didn't do anything about it.
We moved in January 8th, 2017. When we signed the lease, they told us we had to wait one week for everything in the apartment to be ready for us upon move in day. As soon as we moved in there were many things malfunctioning including: a fan in the room, the bathroom light, no cold water in the kitchen, and the bolt from the front door.
Within the first week of living at Place One Apartments, our apartment flooded when a maintenance member attempted to fix a separate problem that was going on. We've had 2 broken air conditioning units (out of two in the apartment), a malfunctioning dish washer, a leaking toilet, and incorrectly installed locks and light bulbs, an incorrectly painted wall, amongst other things.
All I can say is that I painfully regret having moved in here. If the lease didn't have a cancellation penalty, we would've moved out right after the flood, on THE FIRST WEEK! For future reference, Place One Apartments is owned by Morgan Properties, which whom I also contacted and received zero help. Be wary if renting at any property owned by them so you don't have an experience like we did.
