Management of The Cork Factory has gone down hill significantly. Despite repeated requests from many long term residents, property maintenance issues and health and safety issues are routinely being ignored. Elevators were broken for months requiring residents to walk up stairs to access their apartments. Trash has piled up in trash rooms leading to bug infestations.

Hallways used to be vacuumed weekly, but it has been at least a month since my hallway was vacuumed. Many of us seem to be suffering from a cough we can't get rid of. I believe it is from mold from a leaky roof in the lobby, dust and chemicals from renovations which were not properly sealed from residents.

On several occasions, toilets in common spaces have been plugged for days with no maintenance despite repeated requests. Empty beer cans and dog excrement around the property has gotten bad.

The gym area is filthy and does not seem to be cleaned at all. A recent ongoing lobby renovation required residents to enter another building, travel up 7 floors on overcrowded elevators, walk across a walkway with questionable safety and travel on another elevator to access our apartments. Many residents requested a reasonable alternative, but were summarily dismissed by the manager.

It has always been the residents that make The Cork Factory special. Many of us are considering moving due to the failure of management to address our concerns.

The parking situation remains bad. Management did recently install pigeon roosting deterrents in the garage. This is greatly appreciated, but the simple solution of signs explaining the "C" painted in spaces indicates compact cars only. We should also have a large section of the covered area of the garage reserved for residents.

Just got a disturbing update that my 5% (maximum) rent increases over the past 2.5 years are due to my legitimate complaints and less than 5 star reviews. Other folks here don't get the maximum rent increase. Isn't that interesting
