This place constantly threatens its tenants with every little thing from court appearances for a couple of days late with rent payments to holding pool passes hostage until rent is paid even when only a few days behind. They also forgot to add our water bill to our rent for several months then when they realized it they wanted many months of water paid immediately with of course the threat of going to court along with it unless it was paid immediately. Even if you are never late on payments, many other issues here will frustrate and cost you money to no end. When we first moved in they gave us a disgusting unit that was much different then the one we were shown that had not even been remodeled. After days of complaints they moved us to another unit far enough away to necessitate having to rent a moving truck for the 2nd time not to mention the work involved in moving twice in one week without so much as an apology for their error let alone any type of reimbursement. Some apartments have a small hallway outside of your door that has another door to the main hallway in what seemed to be our own apartments "mud room" that we figured was there in an effort to keep the carpets clean. They told us to remove our shoes from this small out of the way room or they would throw them away. Quite ridiculous and petty the management here is. I dont recommend living here unless you are wealthy enough to never have to be even a day late with your rent. They also only accept rent payments by money order or online with a $10 "convenience fee" tacked on. I have lived in many apartments in PA as well as other states and the management here are truly the most dispicable people I have ever come across in my life. Seriously consider anywhere else before you subject yourself to the constant threats from management that the average person surely does not need in addition to the stresses of everyday life. I promise you will regret moving in to this complex almost immediately.
Do not rent here.
The shower handle in my bathroom no longer works, and there is no way to turn on the shower. I called maintenance 3 times on 06/16 and 7 times on 06/17 and have been told my emergency request is at the bottom of the list because when I called at Noon, when the office opened, the call service I was transferred to gave maintenance the wrong apartment address. There was no follow up, no phone call to me, nothing. Just had to call back and place another request. I've updated my phone number multiple times over the past year, it still isn't updated and I have to give my number and tell them it's been updated every time I call in. My building doesn't have a bug problem, but there are still raccoons and rats that come into the basement laundry and apartment (I assume the apartment, since I've seen them in the basement) and hover around the dumpsters for garbage. The only parking for guests is on the street, and the towing company they use has been known to tow vehicles that are authorized to be in the lot. Some of the lots are in such disrepair that there are potholes the size of a car that you have to try to avoid. The new management company put wood fence on the gates for the dumpsters, but that's it. No surrounding fence, and the gates are now so heavy that you can hardly move them on your own. The hallways smell terrible, and if any of my neighbors smoke anything, the smell somehow enters my apartment despite the fact that I do not smoke anything. The bar counters they love to mention are too tall for even extra tall barstools, and the dining area is too small for anything larger than a 2 person table, so good luck doing anything with that space. The AC is in the living room only, so you have to use window units in the rest of the apartment. In the winter you have to open windows a little for temp control because the radiators cannot be turned down.
It seem nice how many bed rooms u got and baths and 8s everthing included
They didn't get back to me.
