    This place is filthy. There is constant garabge in the stairwell and all over the parking lot. Lease says it is a smoke free building but Pam says there is nothing she can do. The pool was green and unusable for the entire year we were there. The washer on the 7th floor was ruined by a water leak in February, as of June they still had the washer sitting there with stagnate water. It took 8 months to get stuff fom our move in sheet fixed and that was only fixed after we threatened to withhold rent. The lease also states they can refuse to renew your lease if you report them or complain about them which I am pretty sure is illegal.

    This place is very old. They have dated appliances,which any time stops working. You'll have to learn all electrical and plumbing stuff to live here.They never replace any appliance. Many apartments have seepage issues.No maintenance.For so many apartments they had only one person who was not able to start any work before 4-5 months.Deserves negative rating.We kept on paying all the rent on time.Then manager comes up with more charges for previous month.She never explained the reason and sent to collection department without any notification and clarification on extra charges to affect credit score. The manager can add extra charges anytime to the previous months statements and if you ask question be prepared to be bothered even after leaving this place...

    Most of the negative reviews are written by residents that do not follow the rules and are penalized for the same. Some of the 2 bedroom apartments regularly have 8-10 people living there at a time which is against the rules of occupancy. I regularly hear some of them complain (down at the mailboxes) that they were charged extra for utilities and parking, but, it is their own fault for trying to pull one over on building management. Not sure how Pam puts up with all of it. Only thing I would change is I wish they would have a shuttle bus as several other apartments provide in the area in this price range, otherwise a wonderful maintenance and management team! Don't get me wrong, I love the occasional smell of curry, but, it seems to overpower the hallways here now.

    A primary reason for moving to Bower Hill III is the on-site manager, Pam Pierce...she is personable and accommodating...since my move-in last December, she remains accessible and attentive to any issue that may arise...her presence makes the living extremely comfortable...
