The Granary *was* one of Philly's best buildings. But in the 2+ years I've lived here, it's been one long nightmare as it's gone downhill. The building itself is literally falling apart, the roof has been inaccessible for at least 18 months (and counting, with no end in sight), the elevators constantly break and when they work they shake violently. The biggest problem is the building staff, specifically and especially the building manager Princess (that's her name). She is rude, she refuses to answer basic questions from residents, she totally fails to communicate with the residents about the status of the issues above, and her attitude poisons the sense of community that used to be so strong here. I cannot warn against living here strongly enough - DO NOT LIVE HERE, at least until Princess is replaced and the building gets competent adult management. Until then, STAY AWAY.

I could see nothing in Granary and was sent to another place which was far from nice to lice in. Very dissapointing

Terrible leasing office. Came to apartment and then was met with a very rude man with blonde hair. Felt very uncomfortable and would never visit this complex again. I am going to have to bring awareness to this issue to the many students and Philadelphia organizations I am a part of so that they do not experience this type of service.

Positives: Nice apartments, nice staff, nice common facilities on second floor, nice free espresso machine on 1st floor. Negatives: Certain residents persistently leave open garbage in the trash rooms, as a result, the stench from the garbage room emanates throughout the floor and there is a fly infestation. Management is aware and seems to have tried to address the situation but ultimately is unable or unwilling to resolve the situation. Elevators are slow and the system for using the elevator from outside or the basement is a cell phone based app which is clunky and often does not work, which is a source of great frustration. Key fobs would be far superior.
