Not a resident, but could of potentially been one - except I left 3 phone messages, & emailed once or twice this week asking to make an appointment to look at an apt...no return call; no email back...not a good sign

NO PRIVACY!!!!! FRONT DESK PERSON WILL GIVE YOUR KEY TO ANYONE THAT ASK. IF YOU ASK THEM WHO DID THEY GIVE YOUR KEY TO THEIR RESPONSE WILL BE "SOMEONE IN MAINTENANCE OR THE AIR CONDITIONING GUYS" AKA I DON'T KNOW. THEY WON'T HAVE A RECORD SO DON'T ASK. I THINK THEY SPEND MORE TIME IN MY APARTMENT THEN I DO. THE BUILDING IS ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION ( DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE FOR THE BETTER). RENT INCREASE WILL BE SIGNIFICANTLY HIGH AFTER YOUR FIRST YEAR. THEY NEVER VACUUM THE HALLWAY OF YOUR FLOOR OR CLEAN THE TRASH ROOMS. WITH THAT BEING SAID IF YOU LIKE UNEXPECTED GUESS (I'M NOT JUST TALKING ABOUT THE MICE PROBLEM), NO HOT WATER, NO WATER, CONSTRUCTION NOISE AT 7AM, MAJOR RENT INCREASES, AND A LACK OF REPAIRS (WORK ORDERS GET CLOSED WITHOUT THE WORK BEING DONE) THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. #WELCOMEHOMETOTHEAVENUE

I was helping my mother look for apartments on February 14th when we visited The Avenue at East Falls. We applied for an apartment, were accepted and $500 was withdrawn from my bank account as part of the application process. We looked at another apartment (in a different development) later in the day and accepted it. After I noticed the $500 was withdrawn, not being temporarily held, I contacted the leasing agent and was informed that there was nothing she could do the refund the money.

After a lot of back and forth with the owning company, Gold Oller, I was repeatedly told there was nothing they could do.

I would suggest anyone applying for an apartment be sure to read the contracts fully before signing or handing over any money.

Keep yourself away from the Avenue at East Falls and do not be deceived by the modern facilities they have... the management is terrible and slack. If your budget allowed, take a look at other apartments but not this one
