I was helping my mother look for apartments on February 14th when we visited The Avenue at East Falls. We applied for an apartment, were accepted and $500 was withdrawn from my bank account as part of the application process. We looked at another apartment (in a different development) later in the day and accepted it. After I noticed the $500 was withdrawn, not being temporarily held, I contacted the leasing agent and was informed that there was nothing she could do the refund the money.

After a lot of back and forth with the owning company, Gold Oller, I was repeatedly told there was nothing they could do.

I would suggest anyone applying for an apartment be sure to read the contracts fully before signing or handing over any money.

Keep yourself away from the Avenue at East Falls and do not be deceived by the modern facilities they have... the management is terrible and slack. If your budget allowed, take a look at other apartments but not this one

Location to the train is great and the renovated units are nice. However the office is horrible at communication. Water goes off all the time with out warning. Fire alarm goes off all the time. I feel bad for my neighbor as they have a newborn baby. The alarm going off all the time must not be good for the baby. We had new HVAC units installed and piping still exposed above bathroom door.

You move in with a special and then at renewal they try to raise your rent $150 more after your told it would go up at a reasonable rate.

I have lived here for almost 2 yrs. I came very close to braking my lease last year. everything that Treetop Development said was a lie. Its a bit noisy here and a lot of construction going on, but it is so worth it, This place is transforming right before my eyes. I am so pleased with all of the improvements. Thank You. GoldOller.
