This was my 2nd trip to view 2 Bedroom-2 bath apts. On my 1st trip I was totally taken by the outdoor space, shared facilities, & views. I narrowed down to two floor plans I liked for my 2nd visit & went at a different time of day than my earlier visit to see more of what the resident demographics are, and was pleased by the mix of generations. The hallways display tasteful & exciting selections of paintings. I like the understated decor -- basically white -- of the kitchens & bathrrooms, the many large windows, and generally good closet space, The rooms seemed smaller than I expected, but they are move-in ready which is what I want. I've asked for the prices and am waiting to hear what they are -- although I know the general range.

Warning: Do not fall for the "completely refundable," "no obligation" $500 deposit to hold an apartment. The agent did NOT once mention that the company will KEEP this money the second the hold period expires. I was under the impression that the money would be refunded once the hold period expired. I was also given no paperwork with the details of this transaction. This is a very shabby way to treat potential customers and I will never consider renting in another building owned and managed by Aimco.

WORST renting experience we've ever had. (1) Many members of the community treat it like a frat house: loud parties Wednesday-Saturday night EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Though we complained many times, it took Park Towne several months to even start the eviction process (note: they were eventually evicted). PLUS loud and invasive construction currently going on in the East Tower. We would never have signed a lease if we knew that they would be remodeling the bottom floor with loud and invasion construction every day starting at 7AM. Though Park Towne did offer a few 'free breakfasts' to compensate the East Tower residents, they consistently never showed up or showed up late. (2) Though they advocate Luxer (their shipping program) as state of the art, it is terrible. At one point, they randomly took me off the account because my last name doesn't match my husband's and sent back all my mail. When we got married, we lost around $700 worth of wedding registry gifts, including some 'irreplaceable' personal gifts. Luxer was no help and Park Towne management did nothing until escalated several times, where they offered us a $500 reimbursement. (3) Park Towne contracts out their front desk people and does not hold them accountable. The front desk also consistently loses keys, which is incredibly frustrating. (4) During our tenure, we dealt with both roaches and mice. When elevated to management, Mark (Community Manager) initially said "try and find a place in Philly that doesn't have mice." We also had to work with management over and over to try and get an exterminator. (5) Get ready to pay for unclear fees. We regularly paid over $200/mo because electricity/gas is shared. So even if you're not home for a month, you'll still end up paying a couple hundred dollars for others to use their electricity. (6) When we finally did move out, Park Towne charged a mysterious cleaning fee and tried to charge us for an extra day's rent. We're still in the process of fighting $200 in charges

We've had a great experience here. We moved into the newly renovated South Tower on day #1, and from the beginning things have been great. We love the apartment with the great kitchen and open-concept floor plan. Maintenance has been incredibly responsive to any concerns and the apartment staff have been super helpful. The place keeps getting better and better as more and more of the amenities are opened. We're hoping to renew our lease!

This is my second year living at Park Towne Place. I moved from Classic to Premier and it was a seamless transition! I've found everyone I've met to be so helpful and friendly, whether it's the concierge, the leasing team, maintenance, or resident relations. I love living at Park Towne and wouldn't change a thing! Thank you all for making my experience here unforgettable! :)

I have not officially moved in yet, but my initial thoughts are very positive. Staff is very welcoming and have been incredibly helpful answering and question that I've had. My apartment was spotless when I first got inside and all utilities were functioning properly. Very excited for the next year here!!
