If I could give zero stars, I would... If you enjoy walking through a minefield of dog feces every time you leave the building, marveling at outdated interior walls reminiscent of a time long past, and interacting with office staff who couldn't careless, then congratulations, you've found your paradise at Chestnut Hill Tower. Let's start with the pice de rsistance: the dog feces; it's everywhere...and management doesn't do anything about it. Whether you're strolling through the supposed "green spaces" or attempting to park your car without stepping in a pile, you're guaranteed to have an unpleasant surprise waiting for you. Clearly, management has no interest in maintaining even basic exterior cleanliness standards. Now, onto the interiors. Prepare to be transported back to the 1970s with walls that haven't seen a fresh coat of paint since the Reagan administration and carpeting that probably has more stories to tell than the office staff. Speaking of which, the office staff is less than helpful, with an indifference to resident requests/issues. But wait, there's more! If you enjoy the smell of marijuana wafting through the halls and elevators (when theyre working) and your packages being stolen by other residents, then you're sure to delight in the cacophony of loud music emanating from neighboring units at all hours of the day and night. Feeling adventurous? Take a ride in one of the malfunctioning elevators, if you dare. Or better yet, try your luck with the exercise equipment that seems to break down more often than not. And just when you think it couldn't get any worse, prepare to shiver through multiple days without hot water during the winter months because apparently, providing basic amenities is too much to ask for. Yes, the apartments are spacious, but management needs an overall, along with implementation of new policies and procedures for this property. Save yourself the frustration and headache, dont do it.

As a two-year resident of Chestnut Hill Tower, I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and to provide an honest account of the persistent issues I've faced. While the rent might appear competitive, it's imperative for potential residents to understand the significant drawbacks. The management's approach has been consistently problematic. My recent experience attempting to transfer to a different apartment is a testament to this. A verbal agreement regarding the rental price and discount, made in good faith with the staff, was later blatantly disregarded by the management. They insisted on having written proof of an agreement that was never documented, reflecting a disturbing lack of integrity and professionalism. This incident is not isolated; it's part of an ongoing pattern of miscommunication and unfulfilled promises. The lower rental rates at Chestnut Hill Tower come at a high price - a price of enduring unprofessional management and living in a building plagued with maintenance problems. The savings on rent are completely overshadowed by the constant stress and frustration of dealing with these unresolved issues. This review is intended to inform and caution potential renters. It's essential to consider not just the financial aspects but also the reliability and accountability of the building management, as well as the physical state of the property. Based on my prolonged and disheartening experience, Chestnut Hill Tower is a place where the allure of affordability is significantly marred by the reality of its shortcomings.

We've been without hot water for over a week and counting. The property Manager "Bri" has the worse customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Not sympathetic, very poor communication and no sense of security or urgency to assure the residence this will be fixed. We went the entire summer without a pool, that we paid an amenity fee for. The office administration stay is not at all Welcoming. The pool was getting renovated over the Christmas holiday "I guess". There is a toddler room with dirty carpets and missing tiles but and I have inquired about it since I have a young child. They'd rather spend money on a closet to hold our packages that are not properly scanned, in which you are not able to retrieve your package if the office staff is not available or any time after hours. Oh, also, there's a huge plumbing issue here. I have a 2 bath apartment and one of my tubs has a slow drain that they can't seem to fix since day 1 when I moved in, so showers are like baths.

I love the appearance. Very welcoming, bright and clean. The young at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant.

I was definitely excited about potentially renting here, but unfortunately between the touring process and after I was severely let down. After my tour instead of following up to see if I had questions(tour was self guided due to covid) I was just sent the financial quote for the apt. Also I wasnt even able to see the exact apt I requested(I requested 1bedroom 1bath & I was shown 2bed 2bath) . Like I said I was highly hopeful with renting here but even when I called with questions I felt like I was being a bother unfortunately. So no I wont be renting here and Ill take this experience as a major red flag.
