A small college town, Allentwon, Pennsylvania, is home to at Muhlenberg College, where it has supported student living since the school's founding in 1848. Muhlenberg is a private liberal arts institution with an affiliation to the Evangelical Lutheran Church. The campus is adjacent to the city's Cedar Beach Park, a sprawling stretch of green space, bisected by Cedar Creek, and a number of jogging and biking trails. For a change of scenery, there's also the Liberty Street Tavern, located in the busy commercial area at the eastern edge of the campus.
