Moravian College, PA

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania's Moravian College traces its origin all the way back to 1742, with the establishment of the parallel institutions Nazareth Hall and the Bethlehem Female Seminary, the very first college for young women in the U.S. With more than 270 years to grow and prosper, the schools eventually merged and expanded into the four campuses where student living at Moravian College takes place today. The institution opens student housing to pupils of a wide variety of disciplines. It's academic reputation has placed it among the top liberal arts colleges in Lehigh Valley and the Keystone State.

Today, about 1,600 undergraduates and 100 graduate students enroll at Moravian College, often residing in a college apartment in the Bethlehem community. Students are guided into their own unique lifestyle, which often changes according to the needs of their program. The school offers bachelors degrees in Music, Arts, and Science, and masters degrees in Business Administration, Education, Human Resource Management and Science in Nursing. It's origin as a seminary school is apparent in its graduate degrees in Divinity, Pastoral Counseling and Theological Studies.

Finding suitable off campus housing is fostered by the four campuses that Moravian College maintains. A Moravian College apartment can be found near each location, opening students to an exciting lifestyle in Bethlehem. The Pennsylvania city has become widely known for its annual Musikfest, a ten-day music festival each August, as well as events like The Celtic Classic and the SouthSide Film Festival.
