It's a nice place to live in King of Prussia. As with all apartment living, we've had our share of loud neighbors, mice, and other annoyances.
Rodent infested apartments. Office is terrible at fulfilling maintenance request and frequently blame things on timing issue instead of their incompetence. If you would like to live in a disgusting and run down apartment this is the place for you. I cannot wait to move out! Would not t recommend even to someone I hated.
Do your research and stay away from this complex. The Apartments are falling apart and they will try to fix them on your expense.Bugs and mice EVERYWHERE.The worst part is the the office staff. The redhead and the guy in charge are just not meant to interact with people. They will act nice until you sign up!After that you will realize how snob they are and do not really care about the residents.DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU.I stayed here for 2 years and i will regret it for ever.I hope this review stays,as the other ones i submitted are DELETED.
I lived on Hilltop Drive on the ground level and I could not have had a worse experience. The kitchens were not updated, they had metal cabinets and a dirty stove. The kitchen itself was incredibly small and difficult to navigate, you definitely need to be crafty with storage. The paint on the walls was so thick that if you pressed the tip of your fingernail into it, it would leave an indent. The common areas of the building were dirty and smelled awful. The model that they showed me when I went in initially was of an above ground newly updated model, the actual unit that I ended up with was small, dirty, dark, and let me tell you about the things that lived down there. The worst part of living at Kingswood were the peach pit sized cockroaches that were found all over the place. There were about 7 cockroaches found in the apartment THE DAY THAT I PICKED UP MY KEYS. My fianc and I had to fumigate ourselves, three times over the course of a ten month lease. We even took matters into our own hands in the communal laundry room where we fumigated as well. After leaving for several hours, we came back to our apartment and as soon as we came in, there were about 25 that were just turned over on their back, dying from the fumigation efforts. We emailed the property management team frequently and when we made our claim that we had encountered the roaches multiple times, they basically turned it around on us and said that we were lying. The one time, I had emailed about the cockroaches on a Friday night and did not hear back until Monday night about someone who would come in on Wednesday, so the response was nearly a week later. Our next door neighbor iterated it perfectly saying "If you're clean and you see a cockroach, you know you've got to get out of there." This place advertises themselves to be something that they are not. There's a reason that they have one of the most affordable rental rates in the area...
I had a 10 month lease at Kingswood, which just ended. I couldn't have gotten out of there sooner. They sell you with the landscaped entrance and misleading online brochures. You buy into this, and move in because its close to King of Prussia Mall and other desirable areas. That's what I did at least. In my 10 months at Kingswood I had no less than 40 cockroaches crawling through my apartment, in my fridge, on the food, in the bathroom, out of the faucet. One time I had a dead cockroach in my laundry which I took out of the dryer unit. I submitted maintenance request after request for this to be dealt with. They send someone to come 'monitor' the bug situation, but nothing helped. I felt like I was living in cockroach central. I also found numerous other bugs, silver fish and other creepy crawlers on a regular basis! Other maintenance was pathetic. My thermostat got stuck at 85 degrees in Spring, my apartment roasting. I called and submitted an urgent request, and also emailed - they took 5 days to come and fix it (temporarily). I had to have my windows open with 32 degree weather outside just so that I don't sweat myself to death. The apartment was a joke. The kitchen was smaller than the closet Harry Potter lived in before he found out he was a wizard. The stove was possibly the first one ever invented. The bathroom was grimy and low quality. The neighbors (on both sides) smoked so much weed I started to become desensitized to the smell! They never salted the sidewalks! I slipped and scrapped my knee badly on 3 separate occasions in winter. Even the main roads during snow left my car sliding around. This apartment complex is all about the bottom line, that sweet sweet profit, without giving any second thought to residents. I honestly feel sorry for anyone who moves in. DONT DO IT!
