There are comments about how it took them a very long time to install the rec center and gym, and while I agree (this was included in my rent for 9 months even though it wasn't complete) that's really only worth demoting one star. The rent is a little expensive for PA (usually around $1500-2000 after utilities and whatnot), but the apartments are beautiful, in a great location, and have great functionality. We live at the top and during the summer our AC manages just fine, and during the winter we don't even need to turn on the heat. I stand by 4 stars. Was this review helpful? Yes No

I was one of the first residents to move in three years ago. I'm sure I made a nuisance of myself when the building was in progress. I stopped by quite often to see when I could move in. It was worth the wait. I love living here. The apartment has everything I could ask for including a full size washer and dryer. Routine maintenance is performed several times a year on the electrical and heating/cooling systems and management always lets us know ahead of time when it will be done. The buildings are safe and secure. I love how well the grounds are maintained. There are a lot of beautiful flowers and shrubs. I'm looking forward to next spring when I will be able to have a garden plot. In the winter snow and ice removal are taken care of immediately. Also, the opening of the community center and outdoor area will be another big plus. Management and residents are very friendly and helpful. I can't imagine living anywhere else.

Very nice building, but overpriced for the area. They have almost no parking and refuse to address this. No further parking lots planned and are building four additional apartment complexes. They suggested I park on the next block or in another business. Frequently request routine maintenance with no response. They didn't tell me the front door code, and almost forgot to give me a key fab and mail key when I signed my lease. The issues continue. II would suggest looking for another apartment option. My one star review stands. The latest lack of customer service was exemplified during the exit interview. My roommate and I are resident physicians and we worked tirelessly to get our stuff moved out. We even had to pay the prorated rent for an extra day. The manager forgot we made this arrangement and was very short during our discussion on the 31st. He later found the email and apologized; however, they charged us an extra $150 for cleaning. When we asked why, they sent these pictures. There was no mention of a problem during the exit interview. Although we should have emptied the lint tray, cleaned the microwave/stove, this hardly seems worth a hundred and fifty dollars.

Parking is not an issue at Verde. Each apartment has adequate parking reserved in the resident lots and there is plenty of on street parking for guests otherwise the community would have never been built due to building and code requirements. Upon notice of move out residents are given complete detailed instructions of what is expected approximately 60 days before move out. There is ample time for questions and clarification for what is to be done. Many, many people have been able to follow the instructions and receive their entire security deposit returned to them upon move out.

The construction is 100% completed and the community has plenty of parking as no further construction is planned.
