I was one of the first residents to move in three years ago. I'm sure I made a nuisance of myself when the building was in progress. I stopped by quite often to see when I could move in. It was worth the wait. I love living here. The apartment has everything I could ask for including a full size washer and dryer. Routine maintenance is performed several times a year on the electrical and heating/cooling systems and management always lets us know ahead of time when it will be done. The buildings are safe and secure.
I love how well the grounds are maintained. There are a lot of beautiful flowers and shrubs. I'm looking forward to next spring when I will be able to have a garden plot. In the winter snow and ice removal are taken care of immediately. Also, the opening of the community center and outdoor area will be another big plus.
Management and residents are very friendly and helpful. I can't imagine living anywhere else.
Clean, bright building. Parking is somewhat limited. There are no common areas and no storage available for bikes, etc.
The management is very accommodating to my needs. As an individual with a disability, the apartment is very accessible. A company (over seen by Rebecca Stimeling) holds the lease on this apartment, but I would rent here if I was able to independently. Everyone from management to my neighbors are very pleasant and friendly. I look forward to residing here for many years. I feel that since I have staff working with me on a daily basis that they should have access to parking in the residents lot - we do have a van that I utilize, but they drive their own vehicle to the job site but have to park on the street (which is difficulty at the present time due to the construction). I am looking forward to the new amenities that will be available (recreation room, exercise room, etc) that I was informed will be available once the construction is completed.
VERDE offers quite, newer apartments with full sized appliances and large, usable kitchens. Repair requests are handled quickly, management is friendly and responsive, and newer construction makes the units very energy efficient so I save on heating and cooling. The apartments are a short drive to the medical center, grocery store, and within walking distance to many restaurants.
The major downside is the high cost compared to other nearby apartment complexes. Parking in the lot can be limited if coming back to the apartment late, but there is always something available close. For me, the quiet, large kitchen, and new feel are worth the extra expense.
Verde is a very nice apartment complex but I am disappointed that there is no pool or dog park available. Furthermore, the gym is not done being built. Elaine at the front office is incredibly kind and such a pleasure to work with. Where did she go?
