Lakewood Manor

When I filled out the online I said I was looking for a 2/2 and we had 2 pets one being a emotional support dog and 1 cat. Nothing was said when they wrote back saying they had a 2/2 that would be available. So I applied and sent $50 for my husband and I and it took about a week and still no answer so I emailed them and the said the owner said no because I had 2 pets and it's a one pet limit . Why wasn't this addressed before I paid for the background check. Their website says pet negotiable. Not 1 pet limit. I will not advise others to apply so they do not waste $100.00 like I did.

We had an appointment to tour the facility. The property manager gave us little instruction when we called and we smelled cigarette smoke as soon as we entered. We were then invited to tour his apartment which was a mess. He didn't give us a tour and just watched as we walked around his apartment. The realtors then called us and informed us that the apartment rhat was supposed to be shown was not available. After we called to express some grievances, the leasing company hung up on us. Don't waste your money or time.

I turned in my application 3 years ago and was denied due to my credit reoport. Sometimes life does happen but it would not have been detrimental to me being an excellent tenant. My last residence was occupied for 13 years and was never a day late on my rent or utilities. Needless to say I now love in a 3 bedroom 2 bath house in Hermitage paying $1200 a month plus all utilities and have never been late. Thank you for denying me because I live in a better home in a nicer neighborhood. Maybe you should rethink how you screen for potential renters. I've told everyone looking to move in to your apartments about my experience and hopefully have swayed their decision. Not only did I offer 1st, last and 2 months in advance they did not want to deal with me. Your loss Lakewood Manor! Mind you the rent was only $700 a month. I've also noticed the same apartment that I looked at is constantly available for rent. I did smell some mold and there was an obscene amount of plugins all over that apartment. Once again I found a great home and I'm contemplating buying this home from my current landlord. Good luck to anyone that wants to call this place home, you might want to rethink your choice.

Larry was great showing the apartment., however the agency that reviews your information was quite rude and do not care for potential renters unless you have at least a 720 credit rating. I really dont know what credit has to do with renting when i have never missed a months rent or any utility bills.

I was very impressed by the size of the apartment. Larry was very friendly and answered all of my questions. We filled out an application on the spot and hopefully soon i can call this home

As a current member at the Lakewood manor apartment complex aind someone who has spent a lot of time living in rental properties i must say that this particular place is terrible! The apartment manager is absolutely horrible in dealing with residents. When I complained about an issue I had with my kitchen sink it took them two months to get around to fixing the problem. When the manager finally shows up one random day with no notice whatsoever he keys into my apartment and walks right through as if he owned the place. Lakewood manor apt. Complex will promise you an on-site washer and dryer but they are always broken and stay down for months at a time. When you ask them about it they simply say the "parts have been ordered." Well the parts have been on there way for two months now.. Every building has there own parking lot however it is a free for all and many residents are forced to park in the guest parking area. Also after being out of town for a weekend I came back and was accused of throwing a party and being to loud by the manager! I am constantly being told to stop throwing cigarette butts outside when I've never smoked a cigarette in my life! I can't wait until my lease is up. I will definitely be leaving this complex and do not recommend it to anyone who is on the market for an apartment.
