Townhomes at Paxton Creek

We just moved in and have found Paxton Creek to be an excellent experience. Irene Risser was welcoming, helpful, and vigilant in ensuring our move in experience was the best. Thank you Irene for everything!

Living here has been comfortable. I have been here for a year and I enjoy the quiet and peaceful surroundings. My home is very nice and maintenance has been reliable if I need anything. I am happy with the staff and as they are friendly and thoughtful. I enjoy living at the Townhomes!

****WARNING LARGE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT UNDERWAY JUST YARDS FROM PROPERTY***Stop and turn away now, this place is a nightmare but if you like throwing your money away or giving it to rude/smug spinners of yarn, then this is your place. The lease they want you to sign is disgusting, it protects them, and them only. For instance, if you have not paid rent by 5pm on the 1st, $50 late charge, and then $5 per day, every day, until all amounts have been paid. The staff will tell you want you want to hear just so they can move on and not have to deal with you. The staff is deplorably unprofessional, and everything they do is a money grab. We have had 3 different managers since moving in just over a year ago, they are all tone deaf and generally cant be bothered. Maintenance is actually somehow worse than the management staff, they are extremely unprofessional, creepy, and argumentative and make you feel like they are doing you a favor when finally addressing your problems. The townhomes look "nice" in the pictures, but they are worn down and not upgraded. Smoke and mirrors are at play here, they will not let you see the unit you are renting, and tell you they have granite counter tops and wood floors, and make you sign a lease, then you move in and find you have formica tops and vinyl flooring and extremely old, matted down carpeting. Now for the icing on the cake, there is a large residential and commercial development going in less than 100 yards from the property, this has brought noise and large equipment coming through the property from dusk to dawn and will only get worse as they are just starting to put houses and commercial buildings a stones throw away. There has been an uptick in the dust and dirt blowing around as well as mice and bugs coming over from the large field that was raised for the project. Trust me, you can find better.

Since we have moved in only over a month ago we have had three toilets that needed to be repaired. One of those repairs took almost 3 weeks. at my move-in meeting I was promised new carpeting but now Im told that that is not the case. My kitchen sink does not work & I am told that I they cannot fix it today because of the snow. It hasnt started snowing yet. STAY AWAY from here. Residents dont clean up their dog crap and the dumpsters are constantly overflowing.

If I could give zero stars that still would not do this community justice. Management moves at a glacial pace to repair anything. We are almost 24 hours without a working kitchen faucet. We were told it would be fixed today. Now were are being told it will not be fixed today without any explanation. We can't do dishes without a working faucet. Additionally, the dumpsters are consistently overflowing with trash smeared across the street and broken glass lying around. This is absolutely the FILTHIEST and laziest community in which I have ever resided. Don't bother moving here. The properties look nice on their faade, but it's not worth the aggravation of living with the cheapest construction, appliances, and plumbing.

Too much money for substandard fixtures and quality. Too much money to not have a club house. Too much monet not to have a pool. Too much money and too many school aged children not to have anything for them to to do. Too much money when there is a lease renewal.
