    They respond quickly to problems, but sometimes don't fix the issue. Also there are plenty of grumpy residents.

    Our neighbors have been very nice and the overall neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We absolutely love how clean our apartment was when we first moved in, everything exceeded our expectations.

    Spring valley is amazing! The staff has always been helpful. I actually moved after living here for 2 years and moved back because it is such a great place and area to live!

    I LOVED living here. The units were large, spacious, and the perfect size for me and my boyfriend. Tons of pantry space, walk in bedroom closet, washer and dryer in unit (saving grace!), ample parking, and extremely clean. Danylle in the office is fast and efficient at addressing any concerns. While we rarely had any issues, there was a time where a massive dog (that I knew was way bigger than the size limit) moved in right behind our unit. The dog barked nonstop, heavy, deep barks from 6am until 11:30pm. It was horrible. I addressed the issue to the office and never heard the dog again. There was quite a lot of fruit flies in the apartment when we moved in that were very difficult to get rid of but I think it was just from the tenants before us. And luckily we moved in during the fall so they died out pretty quick. We had an updated unit and while it wasn't exactly what I expected at first (I was imagining dark wood cabinets like I had seen in the picture) it ended up being wonderful & exactly what we needed. Unfortunately I got a job offer in California and had to break my lease 6 months into staying here (lease break fee is pretty high too) but I will still tell everyone I know looking for an apartment in Harrisburg to live here. Quiet neighborhood with nice people and for a GREAT rent price! I never got to use the pool because we lived here over fall/winter but that was another great perk :) If you are looking for a family friendly apartment or even a great starter apartment - I highly recommend this place!
