Very dishonestly run apartment complex. Initially their web page indicated that several apartments were currently available ... so I completed and submitted the application form. Then they requested that I pay a $25.00 "application processing fee" ... which I then paid. I didn't hear from them for a week ... so I contacted them ... and asked how things stood. I was told that my application was approved ... but they now needed to "find a floor plan" for me. Suspicious ... I started asking questions ... and was told that they had to wait until a current resident submitted a 30 day notice. I reminded them that their web page indicated that several apartments were currently available ... and I was told that they are dealing in "real time" (which I took as a blatant lie) and that I would be placed on the waiting list. I asked what number I was on the waiting list ... and was told that I was #17 ... which meant about a 5 year wait for an apartment. I requested that they refund my $25.00 ... getting my money back was like pulling teeth ... and only after I threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau did they send me a check. Very dishonestly run apartment complex ... and if they are this dishonest with potential residents ... I can image how dishonest they are with current residents.
