    It's difficult to give a fair star review. Management is responsive and accommodating. These people are really doing their best and I can imagine how stressful things can get for them. They really did go above and beyond for people during he pandemic and shutdowns. I know some people were trying to take advantage and satisfy greed, management here was trying to help and protect others. These are garden appointments located between major highways just at entry into the city. There is some noise from the highways and it's an older construction that needs to be maintained. No-one ever complained about my TV being on to loud and I can hear when a neighbors TV is on. I can hear people in other units walking. I can hear the mailman. For me the noise levels are acceptable and comparable to any other place in this area. There are general and seasonal local issues with wildlife, from birds to skunks to an occasional filed mouse to hurricane damages and floods. These are resolved as quickly as possible. Some residents would not be able to afford a major rent increase so management tried to cut costs instead and this is a first major rent increase which is modestly comparable to this area. Locals were complaining about major rent increase 6 month ago, while management delayed to see if they can wait the inflation out and pass some savings to the tenants. There is ample parking (assigned and guest). There are laundry facilities, and they are ample for my purposes, but some find a reason to complain. Common areas are cleaned and vacuumed on schedule and regularly. Tenants are friendly, polite, but respective of privacy. compared to other apartments of similar price range and class, I think these are the better once. The buildings are constructed so that one can see from one balcony into an apartment across. I can't because of distance vision issues, but people that live in private house also cover their windows for privacy.

    I've been the victim of bed bugs twice now and have only been here a year. It's not from me, I bought all new furniture and appliances (which I'll be getting rid of when I'm able to leave here). No compensation or compassion at all to help, switched companies because they admitted the previous one had some complaints and made mistakes. As did this new one, they weren't able to show any signs of bugs and had inspected my bedroom for 10 minutes, my friend had found one not even looking. Several tenants complain about mice infestations, and it's been brought to my attention that there's mold in the laundry facilities which are shared. Management does not care, rather than doing ANOTHER fumigation in which I have zero faith in, they don't want to put up the money to heat the entire building to fully eradicate the issue. Yet they don't open the pool and raise the rent at least $100 a month due to "inflation" and other nonsense. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, this is not an environment that you want to live in.

    It's a quiet community, upper management looks after the property. great location right off of the high way but doesn't sound like it thanks Veronique for making our stay here comfortable!

    I moved out just about a month ago only because I was let go because COVID and decided to move back to where my parents are. Colonial Point is great place to live, efficient management and I always felt safe and at home. Will miss you Colonial Point thanks Veronique for all your support!

    The apartment was given to us without being properly cleaned. There was far and nicotine literally caked onto the interiors of all closet doors and the bathroom had mold. After cleaning it all ourselves we next had to deal with obnoxious tenants who would party until sometimes 4 in the morning during every week day. All management would do is warn them and after complaints from multiple other tenets over the course of about 6 months they finally got evicted. Now, due to poor upkeep, there is a bird living in my walls and has now moved to the ceiling above my bed and I was told the exterminator does not come out to occupied units so basically I was told they will do nothing about the animal/animals living in the walls. To top it all off during a time where most are out of work (Covid-19) they have decided to increase rent claiming their utility expenses have increased also. We pay electric, gas is at a record low, water shouldnt justify a 15 dollar a month increase. I get that everyone has to make their money but at a time like this? Its just a classless move to grab more money with no sincerity for their tenants needs.

    This place is quiet, quaint, affordable. I've had some trouble finding places for my cat and this community welcomed her. It's in a safe location and pretty quiet for being near a highway. Leasing agents are nice!
