Come visit on your vacation, but plan to make Water Gap Village your next home.
The people I have worked with have always been professional and helpful. The area around the units always looks well maintained and beautiful. The unit I am in had a few issues when I moved in, but when I notified the management, things were put right quickly and I have not had problems since then.
Every neighbor we've met has been very friendly. The same with the complex manager and maintenance folk.
I will NEVER, EVER recommend these town homes to others. They are definitely overpriced for renting and will find reasons to not return one's security deposit. I lost $1000 out of my $1030 deposit for carpeting that "apparently" has to be torn out and replaced from my pug's accidental times when he peed on the floor. As a good dog owner, I cleaned them up immediately to prevent any terrible stains to form. I was also insulted as Regina, the owner, questioned my capability as a dog owner for not taking care of my pet. How can you expect a 3 week old puppy to have be trained properly so quickly? For the future prospects looking at these town homes, save your time and your money and don't rent from here.
Layout is nice and the community is moderately quiet, but the lack of in-house maintenance and no dedicated mailbox is a turn off.
