Believe the reviews now. Noise is an unacceptable part of living in Laurelwood. After only 3 months, I broke my lease. My neighbors were so loud. I could hear every move they made (bathroom, kitchen, stairwell). Their appliances made noise that couldn't be muffled & they only did laundry after hours. Tried to complain, was told nothing could be done, so I moved.
Spoke to current resident and toured apartment. The tenants upstairs were horribly loud! You could hear everything and, it seemed they were exaggerated noises. Drumming, dropping heavy items, constant thumping in same spot ( above the bedroom). We are looking elsewhere. Thank goodness we spoke to and toured ahead of time.
Ive lived here going on 2 years and love it. The staff are kind, respectful and quick to respond to requests. Maintenance is top notch. I am close to shopping and medical facilities and yet my apartment overlooks a country-like setting. My neighbors are friendly but not intrusive.
Noise is terrible. I made a noise complaint due to quiet hours not being upheld. Neighbors above chose to ignore the letter. Unfortunately their disrespect and ignorance continues b/c the lease doesn't protect me. Do not make the same mistake.
Lived here almost 2yrs and Very satisfied with these apartments. Leasing office are accommodating with our requests. Love the staff! They are very friendly! After hours emergency hotline quick with responses when I locked myself out on the balcony on 4th of July! Lol I would definitely recommend this place!
My only complaint is I wish the pool stayed open longer because it was still hot in September. And I wish they allowed dogs. Lol
