This place is terrible. You have absolutely no privacy. I was shocked at how disrespectful the people who lived in my building were. Noise at all hours. One complaint & things escalate to unsafe levels. Forced to move out.
I was so disappointed here. I looked at multiple apartments / floorplans. Chose the 1 bedroom, single entrance. After 1 month, I had to get out. A 'nice' couple above me, who never slept, did laundry during late hours, etc. I could here their conversations! Extremely uncomfortable
Believe the reviews now. Noise is an unacceptable part of living in Laurelwood. After only 3 months, I broke my lease. My neighbors were so loud. I could hear every move they made (bathroom, kitchen, stairwell). Their appliances made noise that couldn't be muffled & they only did laundry after hours. Tried to complain, was told nothing could be done, so I moved.
Spoke to current resident and toured apartment. The tenants upstairs were horribly loud! You could hear everything and, it seemed they were exaggerated noises. Drumming, dropping heavy items, constant thumping in same spot ( above the bedroom). We are looking elsewhere. Thank goodness we spoke to and toured ahead of time.
Ive lived here going on 2 years and love it. The staff are kind, respectful and quick to respond to requests. Maintenance is top notch. I am close to shopping and medical facilities and yet my apartment overlooks a country-like setting. My neighbors are friendly but not intrusive.
