The apartments look great on the outside and inside. And thats about where it ends. The noise is unbearable. These apartments were constructed in a rush or on a poor budget. Nothing was done about the noise between floors. Do yourself a favor and find another apartment. I would never recommend this place. If I could get out of my lease I would leave in a heartbeat. Not worth the money AT ALL!
Nice apartments, great layout, and convenient location. Love the spacious laundry rooms, vessel bathroom sinks, and bedroom layout. Quick maintenance responses. The only complaint I have is that over the last few months (especially when it's warm), the entryways/stairs have had random tissues and small pieces of litter present. Tenants have been leaving fast food cups beside my car in parking spaces. There have been kids outside at 9 or later yelling and shrieking. While kids will be kids, at that time it's inappropriate. It's just irritating that a nice complex is becoming less attractive because of random litter left. I'm hoping management will address the issue. Otherwise, it's great and management is helpful and nice.
Apartments are beautiful and very spacious. Great location from restaurants and shops. The grounds are nice and flat and the full sized washer and dryer in their own room is nice. Great grounds and layout for the elderly and disabled. This is where it stops. There is no noise insulation and you can hear every move that your upstairs neighbors make. Don't bother complaining to management because even though it says in your lease that excess noise is a violation of lease they don't do anything and tell you to just deal with it. They don't salt the ice in the winter on the sidewalks or pathways so be prepared to fall. They don't hire a snow removal company it's done by random people in shady construction equipment in a less than timely manner. Snow was left untouched for a full 24 hours after it had stopped snowing and the job that was done was deplorable. They let the ice just melt and then refroze causing the parking lot to become a huge sheet of ice due to the lack of salt. Residents dogs go to the bathroom on the sidewalks and it's left there as well as all over the grass and they aren't penalized. Anything brought to the attention of management is swept under the bus and you are given an I don't care deal with it attitude. There are only two dumpsters in the entire complex and they are constantly over flowing. Trash is thrown outside the dumpsters outside of bags. The dumpster emptying schedule I'd not as frequent as it should be so it's a constant eye sore. Despite paying $1200 you don't get a pool, there is no community center to use for events, the "gym" is like a closet and they don't let you use your own grill but the ones they provide are always broken. The floors look nice but are just rolled out laminate and scratch easy , the bathroom sinks are pretty but are very shallow, and you're going to bed to get a deep freezer because you can't fit anything in the one that's with the fridge. Save your money and just buy a house.
My husband and I are very content with living here at Brooks Edge Apartments. It is dog friendly and many of the residents have pets. It is clean, organized and the staff are helpful and friendly!
Its been OK thus far I had to have maintenance come to fix a few things including a towel rod in the bathroom. I closed the bathroom door after they left and yet again the rod falls as well as the fixtures to keep it in place.
