Less than 6 miles south of downtown Pittsburgh, you'll find the Borough of Brentwood. Pinetree Gardens is conveniently located close to Brentwood Towne Square, Century III Mall and Route 51. Running through the heart of Brentwood is Brownsville Road, where parades are held on the 4th of July and where you can find people strolling and shopping. Brentwood is truly a main street, small community with a big heart.
I moved here in a pinch a couple of years ago. The area I lived was actually very safe and quiet. The only issue I had was with a lot of mold in the bathroom. I had to make sure to always have bleach on hand. Also, parking was an issue. If you rent a garage, youre not guaranteed one under your apartment. I never had issues with maintenance taking care of problems. I did receive shut off notices; as management was not paying the bill. Everyone was getting these notices. They did end up paying the bill; each time. Also, the rent goes up a bit every year.
This property seems to have reasonably priced apartments. Also the area has commuter service available. Shops within walking distance. Lots of trees facing Rt. 51.
These properties are under very very poor management. They never fix anything and claim its because theyre short staffed with maintenance but mind you residents will call about the same problems for over months. They dont pay their water bill which is now causing for the residents in certain apartments to get shut off notices and being told that we the tenants may end up having to pay for it ourselves in order to keep it from shutting off. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
The management sent me several time frames. Each time I selected one they would send me an email stating they gave to another because I waited over two hours to respond. I read they are HORRIBLE at managing. And now I believe it.
