What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Happy Valley

Close to restaurants, gas stations. Easy access to freeway, but not too close. Many churches close by.

I like that my neighborhood is safe and quiet and near the park. It has nice scenery and good for walking pets.

Trendy, high end with fun bars and eateries nearby. New to this area and I love it. Safe and fun. A great place to live.

I have an unbeatable view of the mountain. My kids schools are so fantastic and nearby. All of he amenities I need are nearby.

The baseball program at the local high school is really good. Lots of scholarships coming out of that program. There's a Market of choice close. Epic deli in there. Lake Oswego is close as well as Lake Oswego grill. I'm also only one exit up from a major business artery.

Green spaces with walking trails. Large lots that create privacy and a sense of openness. A million dollar view.

All About

Living in Happy Valley, OR

All year round, apartment residents in Happy Valley have a number of events to keep them occupied and entertained.

Local athletes from around the Portland area turn out for the Happy Valley Fun Run, a chance for local apartment residents and their children to get some exercise and benefit their local community. Runners can participate in the annual 5K or 10K Run/Walk, and their children can take to the streets in the 100-meter Kids' Classic.

Happy Valley apartment residents also give back to their community with the town's Dumpster Day, where they can donate old electronics for re-sale or recycling. The event aims to reduce landfill waste and prevent roadside dumping.

Local apartment residents also celebrate the Fourth of July with the Happy Valley Family Festival, which includes a float parade with hundreds of decorated bicycles, floats, wagons and classic cars. The parade finishes at Happy Valley Park, where apartment residents can enjoy carnival rides, games and live entertainment, as the night is capped off with an exciting fireworks display.

Summer in Happy Valley also includes the six-week concert series, featuring rock & roll, country and jazz musicians from around the area, and the town's celebration of National Night Out - where residents leave their apartments and spend a night at one of 19 local block parties. The fun doesn't end with summer, as Happy Valley also holds an annual Harvest Fest each fall, a popular attraction among residents for its pumpkin painting, wagon rides and live music.
