What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Gresham

There really isnt anything unique in our neighborhood. There's history in our area but I fee like there's nothing special anymore. Its overpopulated.

I like living in my neighborhood because it's centrally located between downtown Portland and Gresham is what I like the most. I also like that in the hood everybody knows each other.

I like going out to restaurants with family, friends I'll go do anything with. Hangout at parks, bowling, skating, hiking.

What makes my neighborhood unique is that there are a lot of beautiful trees. My favorite local restaurant is called the Local cow, they have really good sliders. Me and my friends like to go to the park that is really close to my house.

Very nice neighbors friendly and they keep their yards up nice. We live close to grocery stores & schools.

I like that I can walk just a few blocks and be at a park, or downtown to shop and explore. There are grocery stores just up the road, movie theater, bowling. Plenty of family fun and eats!

All About

Living in Gresham, OR

The city of Gresham has a thriving artistic and cultural scene, giving local apartment residents a richer appreciation for their Portland-area community.

Many of the city's cultural events, performances and exhibitions take place in its renowned Plaza, an area that Gresham Center for the Arts officials refer to as an outdoor living room. The concrete area, with its decorative pillars, in-ground LED lighting and unique modern design, is the centerpiece of the historic Gresham downtown district, which is frequented by local apartment residents looking to shop at one of the area's many upscale boutiques.

Additionally, the City of Gresham Visual Arts Galley is a popular place for apartment residents to seek the works of famous artists from around the world or their local area. The gallery also plays host to the annual Gresham Art Walk, a chance each July for apartment renters to view and even purchase the works of over 100 local artists. Main Avenue is also lined with musicians who provide entertainment throughout the event, while separate exhibitions are held to allow local children the chance to showcase their crafts and artistic pieces.

Apartment residents also know Gresham for the popular Mt. Hood Jazz Festival, an annual celebration that attracts jazz musicians from around the Pacific Northwest and the entire country for performances, educational programs and the promotion of regional culture.
