I love everything about this apartments and the location is in a great spot by the mall
Ive lived in Yaletowne Apartments since September of 2016. Ive lived in 3 different units, all of which have been perfect until now. On day one of living in my current unit, I found a roach and reported it to the office. Its been 4.5 months since then, and theyre progressively getting worse. Ive reported it to the office multiple times, I keep my apartment clean, I follow all the recommendations from pest control, and request that they come out frequently to spray. Ive been told before by office staff theyd have pest control come bomb the whole building, and its never happened. Ive spent maybe $150 in four and half months on my own roach spray, and sticky traps. Roaches have began to infest my microwave which will need to be replaced now. Ive found multiple roaches in my unborn sons clothing and diapers, which I had to pay out of my own pocket to wash, and replace. The only help Ive gotten from the office is them recommending products to buy and use myself, or to move units while Im 8.5 months pregnant, with no guarantee that the next unit wont have roaches as well. I used to recommend Yaletowne to anyone who would listen. I used to love living here. But at this point Im paying $680/month to live in a roach infested apartment.
Oh my god. DO NOT RENT HERE. I REPEAT. DO NOT RENT HERE.
The cockroach problem I had when living here was insane, we had friends living in another building in the complex and they had a terrible bug problem as well, they sprayed multiple times and the problem never got better.
Not to mention the staff is the worst, beyond rude and not helpful in the slightest.
Beyond the worst experience Ive ever had
*****THIS PROPERTY IS NOT PET FRIENDLY***** This is the 2nd year in a row that the property managers have refused to do anything about the flea infestation here. IF YOU HAVE A DOG STAY AWAY they will get eaten up by fleas and the property does not care one bit! My dog is on THREE different flea medication AND and allergy medication for the bites and I still cannot get her any relief. Aditionally, they also just let people run around with their dogs off leash and dont make a big point about picking up feces. It smells like dog poop and amonia when it rains. 1/10 wouldn't renew lease again.
I HAVE NO HOT WATER SINCE LAST NIGHT! I REALIZE THAT IT IS A HOLIDAY BUT EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE SHOULD HAVE A PHONE NUMBER AND ANSWER IT!!!! THIS PLACE SUCKS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO NO ONE.
