This place looks nice but needs lots if work! My floor had patches that you could feel. Manager was never available trucks dont fit in the garages. And the will not return your your deposit no matter how clean.
The maintenance staff wants to argue with you when they come to discuss work orders and anyone else isnt very helpful. I dont feel safe here because I cant rely on the staff to make appropriate calls when needed. There was a fire here not too long ago and it was because the apartment didnt get the fire places checked out properly- that is a big concern. Parking sucks unless you pay a premium of $30 a month to have a reserved parking spot most other complexes are only $10 a month. Maintenance is a joke and generally have to come back several times to fix it right. The noise from the highway is crazy and you can definitely hear it all hours of the day. The living space was built with Cheap materials so things break quite often and as I said before maintenance is a joke. They dont post any reviews that have been left on their website which I think is misleading and sketchy that is why Ive posted this one to every review site I could think of. I hope this review helps someone avoid this property because it has been a big headache. They were going to let us out of our lease but when we tried to take advantage of that they changed their mind. Get everything in writing.
Everything started off great for it, but then 4 months later came the problems. My wife got a job offer in Georgia so we had to move. They hit us with probably $1,200 worth of move-out penalties. Frustrating, but understandable. We didn't have much notice between moving out and having to get to Georgia so we elected not to do a deep clean on our own, we accepted paying whatever they charged us to clean it. They took that and ran with it. They charged us over $1,650 in move-out fees and said it was due to "pet smell". They couldn't find any stains or provide any physical proof, just simply said the smell was too much so they decided to rip up all the floors in the common area and both rooms. We have a 7 year old dog who gets groomed monthly and had ONE accident in there, which he threw up. Despite our whole unit flooding 2 months prior to move-out, they still felt strongly enough that we did $1,650 worth of damage. I'm not sure about any of yalls experience with renting, but you really have to make a concerted effort to rack up $1,650 worth of damage. We are a young, clean couple with no kids and 1 dog, but apparently we created that much of a disaster in 4 months. The sad truth is they were in the process of upgrading the units and somebody had to be the victim. My wife and I consulted with a few lawyers in the area, but we would have to fly back and forth for cases and it would ultimately cost us more to do so, so we elected to swallow the cost and move on and skip our honeymoon since all of our money went to moving costs and the rest to them. As the old saying goes, "the crime definitely didn't fit the punishment".
I moved here this past summer. I love the location! Everything is upgraded. We have the attached garage town home style, the garage is HUGE the apartment has plenty of storage space and 2 closets in the 1 bedroom! The tub is HUGE the kitchen is awesome and pantry is decent as well. Noise level is reasonable and maintenance has responded in a timely manner to our minor things... Oh and the trash valet amazing! Two pools, nice clean property. I highly recommend.
We love it here!!! I have an 11 year old daughter we feel so safe! We love our neighbors they bring us pie and borrow sugar for real!!!
