Use to be a very upscale nice place to live. Until the latest apartment, people took over. Tried to charge me a late fee and blamed it on me when they were the ones who helped me set it up! The Gaines investment the girl was rude as asked me if I was going to call a million times after being concerned about my rental history. Had problems before and actually had to speak with someone from DHS that protects elderly people. Took Sonoma grande a whole week to come and help me with getting new lights put in, and getting the bathroom fixed because of a water leak! Went without using my shower for a week! Still, I overlooked that and tried to work with them. Just don't waste your time you can find better. I feel so disrespected its a shame. They could have taken care of my issue professionally!

Sonoma Grande was great at 1st, until you start hearing neighbors, constantly seeing cops around, nobody picks up after their dogs, the gates are always broken and never get fixed, and the list goes on. We were great neighbors/tenants during the few years we were there, they reviewed the apartment and said we were all good until come to find out we have a $1,400 carpet bill due within 10 days after you move out, again without warning. If you don't pay it within 10 days it goes straight to collections. Just be prepared for this if you decide to move here, they'll decide last minute to replace your carpet even though your rent would've paid for it to be replaced after 2 years.

The gates at Sonoma Grande were functioning for only 4 months out of our 13 month lease. In which case, our tires have been slashed (multiple times), and there have been countless calls to 911. Not worth the time or the money!
