i was hoping i would not have to do this but
i guess i will ( i have lived in the apt for about 2 mth and
in this time nothing and i mean nothing that should have been
fix has been fix) for 2 mth i have had no ac (been told a few time we will get it
done and still nothing ) the new managers have told me a few times that we will get
it fix and that we are working as hard as we can ...mean while they have ac on hot
days they have all there stuff fix .............i promise u i am not the only one
like they are being lyed to and want to move
We moved in to a mouse-infested nightmare in January and have been begging for resolution since! Upon move in, the office was informed of the state of the apartment; dried mouse droppings in every corner and every cabinet, a used BAND-AID in the dishwasher, a missing washer and dryer hookup. Only one of the two bathroom showers are functional, however we must deal with peeling paint in the tub. There are numerous large, green and gunky stains all over the carpet! After making a complaint to the office, they tried to fix our apartment by tearing a hole in the wall where they believed was a washer/dryer hook-up. After tearing a 5-foot hole in our wall, no extra plumbing or connections were found. The project was abandoned, leaving us to deal with a dangerous hole in our wall, with access into the floor below, and a pile of drywall to clean up ourselves. None of the other complaints were addressed by Riverchase.
At that point, Riverchase decided to offer us either a discount on monthly rent, or another unit with a washer/dryer hook-up. We chose the new unit, and were allowed to keep our monthly rent payment until we signed a new lease. We visited the office three times with a money order in-hand, and was told that the new unit was not ready. We did request the offer in writing, however was turned down by management, who reassured us that we will be taken care of.
At the end of March, I clarified with the property manager that they are now refusing to move us into the promised unit, as well as refusing to offer the discounted rent for the current unit, for violating our lease. I asked Riverchase to provide us a list of our violations in writing, however they have yet to do so.
Now, we are left with one functioning bathroom with hazardous peeling paint, unsanitary dried mouse droppings that I have been unable to clean from the carpets, a dangerous 5 foot hole in the wall leading to the floor below, NO washer and dryer hook-up, and a very bad taste in our mouth.
I really been looking foward to moving me in my friend i want to have my own house so i could just be by my self and i chose these apartments
We love the pool and the basketball court.. Then kids love living here
My apartment was damaged due to a fire and management was so helpful. They got us into a new unit within a couple days
