Stay far away from this place. The only good thing I liked about the place was the apartment itself. Nice, quiet nothing wrong. What I have a major problem with is the outrageous price I paid for this terrible experience. I got to enjoy the "year round" pool THREE times. The third to which was on Memorial Day, to which they kicked everyone out at 12 to work on for "two days". One week later... still not open. Tiny gym that does not have any form of air conditioning. Management changed after 2016 for the WORST. They are horrible, helpless people.
But after my warning, if you MUST have this apartment.... ASK FOR A COPY OF THE LEASE. Because it's somehow legal to not give a copy of the lease to tenets and then charge you $200-400 for not memorizing the lease a year later. It requires a 60!!!! day WRITTEN notice. So get a copy of the lease. Study it everyday, highlight it, ask questions, memorize every sentence, and when you're ready to move out and they still charge you money, you can remember this review and ask yourself why you didn't listen to me.
The floor plans, patios, and neighbors are great! This place has the potential to be the best place in town to live. Sadly, it's not. The management here leaves something to be desired.
Your apartment may not look like the model. Leave a week after walk through before you set your moving date, so you aren't stuck...moving is expensive! The apartments have the cheapest fixtures possible and appliances that are paint chipped. Their fix: appliance paint, which leaves the flaws obvious. The carpet is old, cheap and matted. The refrigerator is smaller than the model.
The hot tub never works and the pool has been closed on major holiday weekends! The only way repairs get done is by reporting them through the app. If you tell the office, NOTHING gets done. EVER.
We were very excited to move here, and have not been disappointed by our floor plan. Still love that. But the poor management here is obviously going nowhere and continues to be a thorn in our side. Our nice neighbors come and go. Very few people stay here for multiple years. There's a reason the rent is lower here. If poor management and cheap, outdated features don't bother you, it would be an acceptable place to live.
Right away it was like a real home and with the management and staff in place they sealed the deal with making you feel welcome all the time.
There's a few things that need to be fixed around the complex, but we've been waiting for a lot of things to be fixed for about two months. Anytime it's something like the air conditioning that goes out which it has 3 times already this summer , they're usually here to fix it within the week. But, overall, it's pretty and better than a lot of the apartments around.
I absolutely love my home at Quail Landing Apartments. The complex is beautiful and well kept. I have had a few minor issues that have required maintenance. They have responded promptly and upon fixing the issue were quick to communicate with me when the job was complete. The management staff are friendly and eager to help. I have lived in different apartment communities from Dallas to Oklahoma City at different times in my life and this is by far my absolute favorite!
