I have to agree with the other disappointing posts. Everything seemed great when I signed my lease, but my time here as been sub-par.
I too had problems with my air conditioner making a loud banging noise while running. During the 3 attempts at fixing it, all that was done was sticking a part of a foam pool toy up in the unit to block the sound. Most of my other requests, to fix burned out porch lights, to seal windows and doors, were ignored.
There is also a major bug problem here. I have had to deal with spiders, scorpions, wasps, pill bugs, roaches and more. The pest control is obviously not working.
The biggest problem came when I notified management that I was moving out. They were extremely unaccommodating and would not allow me to stay even a few days past my lease date, unless I wanted to pay a full month's rent.
Take a little time and really weigh your options when it comes to renting Update
I just moved out of and I'm so glad to do so. We had a terrible experience there, and management is impossible to deal with. They don't care about their renters at all once they've got your contract. We had problems with spiders and scorpions, and they wouldn't send any pest control people out for weeks. Even then, it didn't help. The people that lived below us had wild parties at all hours of the night when I had to be at work early in the morning, and they wouldn't enforce their quiet hours policy. The worst of all is that we moved out because of a job opportunity in another city. We had to break our lease, which was VERY expensive, and they made us pay it upfront, saying they would refund it if we found someone to sublease it. We found someone, and then they wouldn't give us the money back. They kept putting us off, saying management was busy at the moment, and they did this for an entire week. We never got our huge payment back. Plus, they kept our security deposit, and then they were trying to charge us for other damages that we didn't
Been here almost.5 years was great. The last 5 months bad no air.tillmay 16 it was
So hot. Very safe just not.happy with ownership.of the apt. Anymore time to move on
This is the worst apartment complex EVER!!! Dog poop everywhere, water is shut off once a week for "line repair", there's never any parking spots and the apartment complex is dark and creepy at night time. The staff are not very helpful at all and take forever to fix whatever problem that might occur in your apartment. Seriously the worst place I've ever lived at.
Only gets worse as the months go by. There is no insulation and so the electric bill is VERY high. The heater runs constantly to keep up with the cold and the bill is worse than I used to pay in a 3 bedroom home! When you ask to get things fixed maintenance makes sure to leave all the trash at your front door. Also my car gets scratched everyday! The parking lot is too small.
This is a horrible apartment. Stay away.
I currently resides at Council Crossing Apts for nearly four years. And the ladies in the office is awesome. Really to assist in any professional way
Only 2 situation that concerns me. One the parking is awful, especially for someone who works nights. I've suggested marked parking spots or at least let you pay alittle something extra to be guaranted a spot. Two I've asked for the carpet in my living room be replaced due to carpet cleaning tech. last year , stating no longer will be able to clean again and it was here upon my arrive. Guess I just have to replace it myself . Overall this is a wonderful place to live ,never had any problems, Anyone would be pride to love here. I know I am.
