The Leaseing Agreement every tenant signs specifically says to keep the noise down. New neighbors moved in and they are so loud almost every weekend someone in our building calls the courtesy officer or Norman Police Department on them. The Leasing office has got so many complaints yet nothing is being done about it. Northstar Properties who own these apartments arent doing anything about it. We all have to suffer through the loud noises and just get a sorry from management. Unless you like to be super loud all the time I wouldnt recommend these apartments.
They didn't have a washer and dryer hook up.
Not truly pet-friendly - no dogs over 30 pounds. Wasted my time for an inquiry
I moved into Savannah Ridge about a year ago, and overall, I've been very happy with my experience. Non-urgent maintenance requests are taken care of very promptly (often within the day if I call in the morning), the neighborhood's pretty quiet, my neighbors are nice, and the leasing office staff is courteous and helpful. My only criticism is that there are a few apartment buildings (like mine) that don't have sidewalks between them and the parking lot, and there's a grassy incline against those buildings that's a little steep in places. It's not really a problem for me personally, but if you're using a wheelchair or stroller, it might be hard to navigate. Also, the interiors are a bit dated, but that's pretty easy to fix with the right furniture/decoration.
Overall, these apartments are a great choice for people wanting to live affordably in Norman without being too close to OU (which is a pain live near during football season). It's the perfect location for me, with Moore/SOKC only about 15 minutes north and OU campus about 15-20 minutes east (depending on traffic). I feel comfortable calling my apartment my home.
I lived here from May of 2015 until I relocated for my career in May of 2017. This apartment complex and managing company went above and beyond to ensure I had a nice place to call home. From move in to move out they were very prompt and answered any question I had. I knew I had a break fee because I broke the contract to move, they were flexible and allowed payment arrangements if needed. Every time I ran into an employee they went out of the way to ensure I was happy. I loved my neighbors and I would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking around. Still in Norman and close to Moore but you don't have the busy traffic around campus to worry about. Thank you Savannah Ridge and Northstar for the great memories!!!
