Alameda Pointe

I met with the new manager of the apartment "Jess" she showed me around. I was happy that they had a student discount deal going on for potential tenants. After doing a walk around through the apartment. I have made up my mind to move in next month.

It was a good place when Gretchen was here she cared for everyone I have been living here since July 2017 we got people that live upstairs above us that has no consideration of the people below they constantly purposely stomping or walking extremely hard on the floor & a few times they seem like they were going to fall through our celling & there dogs constantly do the nonsense barking this new manager wont do nothing about it its become harder for us to live here cuz nothing is being done about it plus in October we went to pay the rent on the 4th like we always do the manager said we owe a late fee but she waved it that time the office hours changed & didnt give a notice of the change not very good manager as soon as the lease is up we are moving dont move here unless they find a better caring person to take over and control the people that lives upstairs 1 strike is a warnings 2 strikes u pay a disturbance fee 3 strikes u are out But no she doesnt do that & the people upstairs still constantly on purposely walking really hard on there floor & there dogs still barking nonsense all the time

I've lived at Alameda for over a year now. It's an alright place. Parking is kind of a pain and the walls are fairly thin (I can hear my neighbor's alarm clock in the morning) but worth the original price given that it is gated and management was nice and cooperative. However, new management has taken over and they're not the best. I've been given a sudden notice that my rent is increasing in 2 weeks. They also changed the office hours without notifying tenants, resulting in me being a day late on rent. Then they tried to charge me a late fee when I came in the next day with my rent payment. I used to love where I lived but now I am definitely looking to move.

The property is full of relatively quiet, pleasant neighbors. The apartments and grounds are nicely maintained and the staff responds quickly to requests. I have never waited more than a few hours when I have called in a maintenance request. I have lived at Alameda Pointe for almost five years and consider it home.

I like the size & layout of my apartment. Rent is fair. And neighbors are friendly.
