They responded promptly to every need I had(from a squirrel in my apartment to my kitchen sink getting repaired). In addition, the staff is always kind and responsive.
Everybody is very helpful and friendly.
I really like living here! I like the layout of the apartments making each one kind of separate but still close together and facing each other (mine has a staircase that leads up to only my apartment, but I still get to talk to my neighbors.) The office staff is very friendly and helps out with anything they can and any questions. The apartments are well maintained too, we got ours with new carpet and flooring, new paint, and new appliances. The maintenance staff is also really awesome and does things from changing light bulbs to fixing leaks really quickly. My only big complaint is the fact that the parking spaces are slanted, which might be a problem with ice and snow but otherwise I really like this place.
I lived at Spring Creek of Edmond for more than 3 years and was very satisfied until we attempted to move out. We were good tenants who never made a late payment or received any complaints. Less than 2 weeks after we moved out we received a bill from a debt collector stating that we owed over $700 in carpet replacement fees due to pet damage. We had paid a pet fee that exceeded the amount we paid in security deposits that did not factor into covering any damages. This statement was also incorrect, stating that we had only lived in the apartment for 29 months when in reality we had lived there for 42. I attempted to dispute this amount and it took over two months to get the amount resolved to what we actually owed. Less than 2 days after the amount was revised it hit my credit score along with my two roommates who were also listed on the account. I'm not sure if this is standard procedure, but as good reliable tenants it seem very disrespectful to send any amount to collections without issuing a statement directly to us beforehand. We would've been happy to pay Spring Creek directly for the damage, but instead they made it much more difficult on us and impacted my credit. Because of this I am advising potential tenants not to live at Spring Creek. The pricing is high, the apartments are not as nice as the displays they will show you, and they will attempt to take advantage of any potential damages no matter how well you take care of your apartment.
The upper management was often rude. Sure, you have townhouses and the location is fair, but all of the things that justify the higher pricing are superficial. There is only a face value here. When you move in you see that this complex is just like every single other complex, just more expensive. Not only that, but nowhere else has ever increased my rent when resigning a lease!
