Please do not live here. This place is awful. There are sketchy people all around, they turn off your water MULTIPLE times without warning, and in order to keep the thermostat on youll end up paying around $250/mo. Its ridiculous. I had to turn my thermostat off for 5 months just to keep a normal electricity bill! And I dont leave anything left plugged in all day except for one phone charger and one scented candle because the whole place smells like smoke.
If youre someone who takes daily showers, dont live here. They constantly turn off the water for emergencies and wont warn you. I asked about it and they said since it was an emergency they didnt have time to notify anyone. Well, this is the 7th emergency and I never got notified. Even when there isnt an emergency there are no notifications... all I want to do is shower... Im tired of guessing whether or not the water will work that day in my own home. There have also been TONS of other managers here that have come and gone and there will probably be tons more. This place cant keep a manager here for more than 3 months. Once my lease is over Im leaving and never looking back.
My roommate and I have lived here since April and our experience has been nothing but negative. The day we moved in, they told us we couldn't shower for 48 hours because they had redone the tubs the morning we were moving in. Once we could use the tubs, my roommates didn't drain, because the contractors had poured broken tiles and paint down the drain, and mine leaked all over my bathroom, which took them over 3 months to fix, and the wood in my bathroom is now coming up. Our electric bill has been over $200 every month; we have called the office over ten times since August for them to come check our air and they have yet to come. There have been 5 maintenance men since I moved in, so it's hard to get anything fixed around here. The office lady is great, but the buildings are old and the renovations were done cheaply and quickly. I would NOT recommend living here.
It's quiet and close to school and they give free coffee and snacks in the office. I have only had one issue in my apartment but the took care of it the same day.
I have been lucky with my neighbors. I do need an apartment ASAP. THANK YOU
