All about

Walsh University, OH

In 1960, the Brothers of Christian Instruction founded Walsh University (then Walsh College) in North Canton, Ohio, and have remained integral in instruction and administration throughout the years. After more than 50 years of the Brothers' influence, the university has grown into an institution of nearly 3,000 students in both undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition, Walsh University now offers student living on satellite campuses in Medina, Canfield, Springfield Township, and a new location outside of Rome, Italy. Student housing in any of these areas lets students grow academically as they explore the local attractions.

Walsh University's main campus in North Canton offers more than 50 majors to undergraduate students, lending a measure of diversity to students in on and off campus housing. In addition, the school offers five graduate programs: a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, and Masters programs in Counseling, Education, Business and Theology. Aside from providing access to these programs, student housing at Walsh introduces students to the campus' unique attributes, such as the Peace Pole, where figures like Mother Teresa and Elie Wiesel have visited to advocate for peace.

Off campus housing at Walsh University provides an equally unique lifestyle. In these living arrangements, students are encouraged to engage with the surrounding community and enjoy its eateries, bars, museums and entertainment venues.
