Orchard Village

Had a great experience at Orchard Village. The manager, Wafaa Mourad, was always very helpful!

They are really fixing the apt. complex up nice.

I received some new equipment for my computer and didn't know how to use it. I talked to WaFa about it and she came down and set it up for me. I thought that was very kind of her and above the line of duty. I have always found her and the other employees very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a fine place to live.

The tour went very smoothly, the lady in the office is very nice and easy to get along with! The only issue I had was the expenses of the apartments. Very pretty but very pricey!!

Well... the latest comments make it very clear about what is it like to live here. lol...

no one knows what is going on in this place. construction projects going on all year long. they are renovating one unit at a time as it becomes available. it may take another two years, at least, to complete the renovation. construction never stopped during the covid19 stay-home period. even though i cannot tell why renovating some 60 year old apartment is considered essential.

AN OVERDUE UPDATE: Everything I said after moving in (below) is STILL WONDERFUL because of the excellent management and staff... Grocery delivery is an essential thing for us because I don't like the expense of owning a car. When the food arrives, I meet the driver with one of those fold-up nylon wagons, sign for it on the driver's app and go back upstairs with a trove of food without lifting heavier things like a case of soda or a jug of detergent. The random chance that a big delivery could arrive at the very hour on the rare day the only elevator to my floor at Orchard Village wasn't in service all seemed incalculable to me. But it was practically predicted, or so I saw, it had to be known to everyone except me. When I asked the delivery driver to please park after loading the wagon so WE could take the groceries upstairs-- he vanished as if he planned for exactly the situation I faced. Sad as I was to cancel the driver tip, I postponed doing so to call the Orchard Village office. As I began to ask if they had any information on the elevator, I was interrupted mid-sentence: "What can I help you with?" the leasing assistant said as if I had called 911. "It's no emergency," I began to explain, yet between uttering the word "groceries" and before could spit out "driver" or "left," she told me her plan: "Right now we have a lunch break. Meet me by the staircase. I'll be there in two minutes," she calmly but firmly instructed. "Wait!" I thought, staring at my to phone, "Did I just call 911 by accident?!?" Of course not. But months later I'm still dumbfounded how TWO complete strangers must have known with abundant certainty that my groceries would show up when the elevator was out, yet kept secret from each other their equally decisive and opposite plans for what to do in such a rare event? I'm finally ok with heaping early vaccinations on the "essential worker" whom politicians call "Frontline," and who toiled humbly so the rest of us could eat. We must salute esteemed pandemic-era delivery drivers. But I reserve my sincere thanks for the lady who works as a leasing consultant at Orchard Village and never gets tips and never considered letting me wait to take my groceries upstairs that day I have etched in memory only because when the chips were down, Orchard Village showed up. (Yes, I know and want to thank this great person by including her name, but I have not asked for her permission to publish it.) _ _ _ _ Just moved my mother into a fantastic "Trademark" series apartment that really makes you feel like "you've arrived." I'm talking about a reasonably-priced, well-located luxury apartment that delivers not only convenience , but keeps all those thoughtful kitchen spaces you mourned losing to "downsize." Hidden behind a sliding pocket-door where the stone countertop ends is a laundry/utility room any luxury condo would envy. Even more surprising, all the obvious care that went into remodeling the Trademark apartment spaces is matched by the property management. Sincere concern is hard to find after landlords were stuck with the check following the COVID-19 Bacchanal. Yet our move-in (on certain short notice) was as friendly as it was flawless. Don't waste another application fee on people who don't care a thing about you once your credit passes muster and their lease is inked. Come home to a residential management that truly considers your happiness every day.

Khafa is so professional and awesome! The best manager out here! She returns calls and very easy to talk to, and she really works with you! This place is beautiful inside and out! A tad bit pricey but nice. No garage or assigned parking space.
