Everything about james town is just as I would love it, wouldn't change a thing...

Terrible management! They lose deposits! They lose rent payments! Maintenance is slow to respond and their repairs are a joke. DO NOT RENT HERE!

Only good thing is being close to the freeway. Otherwise management screwed up my payments every month I paid via money order. Also my back patio area never gets cut or lawn maintenance. I have allergies and cant even go outside in the back in bbq because of all the weed and pollens. My lease is almost up and Im moving most definitely.

Lived here for years and it's just gone down hill. New management (MTH) is absolutely horrid. No communication, wont fix repairs or answer any concerns or questions, and extremely unprofessional. Old apartments, they still have the original windows so in the winter you will freeze, rats, flies everywhere, the windows don't even stay up or will open at all. Way too expensive as well. For a 1 bedroom apartment you can rent a house. It isnt worth it.

Jamestown is an older but classic in in its all brick design. I really like the the wooded setting and yet its 3 minutes from the e-way. The kitchens need updating from floor to ceiling as does the bathrooms, especially for the price. Some of the advantages in the townhouses are forced air heat and central air along with your own private fenced in outdoor patio.

The rent is ridiculous for the amount that I am paying. I have their one bedroom apartment and I live by myself. I can't afford it anymore. Also, I've been trying to get in contact wit the office for several months about my lease (since it is up in May) and no one is answering the phone. Not only that but I leave messages trying to set up an appointment to talk about it and they've never called me back (I left my name/number/address). 100% not worth the price. These are the main problems I have encountered (I have a single apartment with a patio) - Rats (they are everywhere) and I know that many people that I have known have found them in their apartment -if you don't have a lock on your patio, you will get intruders. -giant spiders and silverfish and flies (Just getting the animals out of the way) Jamestown is practically in the woods, because of that if you leave your windows open (they have screens but they don't fit the window) you will have bugs everywhere. -changing management (I have lived there for about two years now and they have changed management 3 times, the current management that they are switching to is MTH management and they are the ones not answering me) -when they say 'updated' it's really not updated. My apartment is considered to be a fully updated unit so I had to pay extra, however all they did was paint the old/falling apart cabinets an off-white shade. no new flooring or carpet or anything really. They didn't even clean the apartment or the walls before I moved in (it was pretty gross). -if you live on the first floor you get absolutely NO SUNLIGHT. All of the windows you see in the pics are there but i have a balcony and a building in the way, this means that at all times of the day I receive little to no sunlight at all even with all of the blinds open. As you can probably tell, I am anything but satisfied. If this apartment cost maybe between $400-$500 I would be fine. But this is 100% not worth the $747 dollars I pay every month.
