Apartment was immaculate upon move-in and is quite spacious. Maintenance is handled promptly. Grounds are beautifully kept. All staff are very professional. We participate in the provided fitness activities. It's great to have an indoor pool, which is great during the winter! Appreciate the new carpeting and tile floor in the lobby (Building A).

Looks great to me!!
I lived on the 1st floor. Walls are thin and you hear other residents. There are signs plastered everywhere No Dogs Allowed. Yet who ever lived above me had a dog that barked constantly, starting about 6:00 in the morning and every night between 11:00 to midnight. This is ridiculous. There are many humane ways to prevent dogs from barking. I complained to management several times. Finally they spoke to the resident and the barking stopped for a couple of months. Then it started again, worse than ever. I complained to management and nothing was ever done. I live in an apartment building now where dogs are allowed, yet I never hear any barking.
Everything started out wonderfully with our Presidential experience. We loved the building, amenities and the apartment. We filled out an application immediately and were immediately approved. Because the apartment we were approved for was coming available in just a few weeks everything moved very quickly. We put in our notice at our current residence and began to sell off items that would not fit or be needed in the new place including our lawnmower. Then the roof caved in. The property manager Jennifer contacted me while I was out of state 800 miles away to inform me that she approved our application without noticing we had a dog and we would be unable to move in. This put us in a real bind because the wheels were in full motion and we had sold off some of our things but now had no place to live in a couple weeks. Had the application been denied because of the dog I'd have been ok with that but the week it took to change their minds has caused real strife. I contacted the property manager and the home office asking not to allow us to live there but to simply refund our $90 application fee for the inconvenience and to replace the lawnmower which we sold way below market value to move it quickly. They refused. They obviously don't care about the upheaval they've caused my family and clearly $90 is more important to them than people. Look the apartments are nice. The neighborhood is safe. But think twice about signing a two year minimum lease with people who do business this way. The next problem could be much bigger.
Apartment living made enjoyable, special and fun! The Presidential, with its spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments and manicured grounds, is a Rocky River gem. Just south of Center Ridge Road, The Presidential combines a tranquil neighborhood feel with proximity to many attractions including Westgate, Emerald Necklace Marina, Rocky River Senior Center and three golf courses.
