this place stinks and the person who showed me the apartment just smiled when I asked if she would refer anyone to live here. that was enough for me to run away..

Please Avoid at all cost . My first 6 months here was pretty smooth , noise level non existent, Maitence respond time great . Then things get rough . The security door in my building has been broken 2 1/2 months . Which means anyone can come & go as they please . Leasing staff tells me they have to order the part . I didnt know it takes 2 1/2 months to order anything in the United States . The main elevator is always down . Side door is always open . If you are big on security. Avoid this building . Once my lease was up they told me they would charge me $1100 for a one bed room apt . Or I can resign the lease for 1 year for the original rate of 750$. Thats basically them trying to bully me into signing a lease in an unsecured building . I do take full responsibility for not being completely ready to move when my lease was up . So Ill deal with it but I do feel like that is excessive. The water is off at least 2-3 times a month for a full day . No 24hr notice . Just a note on the main entrance saying sorry for the inconvenience an inconvenience should be once every 6 months , if that . Work order respond time now is two weeks . Im currently looking for another apt . If the leasing / management had required people with a higher credit score to move in , instead of the anyone with a deposit , building value would of been better . My neighbors litter , trash rules are never applied & garbage is found in stairway/ elevator . I dont blame management for garbage problem . Some people are just obviously raised in the projects . I hope they get it together before no one who cares lives here. And the screening process should be stricter.

I have been here for 2 years. These complaints that I see are not completely valid. Tenants need to accept responsibility for their contributions to some of these complaints. If you haven't had heat for 2 months, why is that? Have you given permission for maintenance to enter when you're not home? If not, then perhaps there needs to be better availability so that they can have access. If permission was provided, I know for certain that a few calls to the emergency maintenance line will dispatch maintenance to your unit. I was without heat for a few hours and maintenance was here within 1 hour from my phone call. Heat went out again a week later and although it did take some time for them to arrive, they came the same day and my heat was restored. I was also provided with space heaters as a courtesy. The customer service here has greatly improved. There are new customer service people at the front desk who have been a welcome change. I won't say that the apartment is perfect, but I certainly haven't had such negative experiences as the other reviews on here. The complex is a work in progress with so much to offer. There are wonderful amenities to the complex that make it well worth considering a unit here. As far as dirty hallways go... individuals need to understand that they have a responsibility to keep the place where they reside clean. Yes, things happen and spills happen that need immediate attention. However, I've seen people who refuse to dispose of garbage properly and will simply leave it in the hallway. People with pets have been seen allowing pets to have "accidents" in the hallway. It takes more than just mgmt to make this place run efficiently.As tenants, you have a responsibility to take care of your own space. I am certain that many would disagree with this post, but coming from my personal experience, I actually enjoy living here. This complex is tolerable and worth touring.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I haven't lived here a full year and I have been having issues since I moved here! My kitchen flooded 3 times within a week span resulting in me having to throw away food, everytime maintenance comes out to fix it they say it's fixed. My furnace has stopped working twice within a 3 month time frame and of course maintenance says it's fixed. I called to have someone come fix my oven about 2 weeks ago because it never works, and no one has been out to look at it yet. Not to mention the hallways are filthy, they have a terrible smell, the wash room has machines that haven't been working since I moved here! I pay my rent on time and so I expect for things to nw fixed in a timely manner. There is nothing luxury about these apartment at all!!! Save yourself the trouble and skip this dump over in your apartment search.
