Big Creek

As a new resident at 2 weeks I hope our experience improves but I felt people should see what almost $1600 monthly has gotten us so far. One of the biggest pros for me was the fact I could bring my own washer and dryer because all the hook ups and 2 outlets there so we were told. However after paying the movers to bring one of the most expensive appliances I've ever bought and treasured to our new apartment we discovered that it was gas only and the apartment refused to put in a 220 line. So out goes almost $2300. After being rushed through a mountain of paper work (no time to actually read it because it was not sent before hand as we were told it would be and still after 2 weeks never got a copy) we got the keys so the movers could do their work. The cleaning of the place and general care was extra neglected. There is so much hair on the walls, mold, terrible paint job (seriously a 10 yr old could have done better), destroyed cabinets, broken tiles, a hole in the shower (sorry person under us, you might need a bucket), broken trim, and a water tank that sounds like a mix of a popcorn machine and a rock tumbler. If anything gets taken care of I'll update my review but so far not worth the monthly price tag. Oh, almost forgot that there's only 1 trash bin for the entire community. It compacts at least but it can be far for most, loud, and there's a $50 fee if you set trash by it. Can't wait to see the horrors of the water bill that so many talk about!

We love living at Big Creek! The location is great, the staff is amazing and our apartment is spacious.

This location is awesome for a job I'm starting at IX Center, I can't wait to move in - the apartments are huge.

Apartments were a good size but thats the only positive .. Water bill is a big problem 150-250 a month is outrageous. Office staff is rude and takes forever for anything to get fixed. I was on the 3rd floor and had a leak into my apartment and they took days to address the issue, brought out fans but did not tarp so when it rained a few days later had more water damage. A family member moved out of a townhouse not long ago. They were paying 1420 for rent and now they are Asking over 1900 for the same unit. Snow removal is A joke. Feb when we got hit with a storm 6 cars were stuck trying to get in or out of the complex,

Highly recommend Big Creek in Parma! The community is very nice, close to restaurants and shopping. The maintenance and staff are great too!

I went to look at an apartment on a Sunday. There was trash everywhere. The dumpsters were full and overflowing with garbage. There was old furniture everywhere. I understand that it was a Sunday and maybe maintenance wasnt there to clean up but I was so disappointed with the appearance I left without looking at the apartment.
