Not to be confused with it’s homonymic counterpart to the West, Notre Dame College is located in South Euclid, Ohio, where more than 2,000 young scholars move into student housing each academic year. The school has been part of the South Euclid community since 1922, when it opened as a women’s college. Since then, the school has expanded and developed significantly, and even opened enrollment to men beginning in 2001. Since the college became coeducational, its enrollment has nearly doubled, and interest in a college apartment has soared.
As part of student living at Notre Dame College, students choose from 29 majors in pursuit of an associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree. Providing a wide range of programs, the school has separated its majors into five academic divisions: Arts & Humanities, Business Administration, Education, Nursing, and Science & Mathematics. Students are also encouraged to design their own majors, in the spirit of the liberal arts education.
While academics present a significant attraction to enrolling at Notre Dame College, the school's locations offer more incentive to rent a college apartment nearby.
