Let me start by saying Im sure the response will be the typical - As you know we just took over and are working diligently to resolve all of the problems I mentioned. We want our residents to have 5 star service. Well, the pictures Im posting were taken this past week - two months well into them owning the building. My Google review has pictures - Email communications from them with the wrong apartment name -In response Justin responded and said they are working hard to learn residents names. He didnt get the name correct on the response -I received a call from the office about a mattress being delivered. I told them I did not have a mattress being delivered the lady began arguing with me.I stopped the conversation and said I would check it out. They didnt wait for me to get to the office and they already sent the delivery driver to an entrance he dropped everything and just left. The packing slip clearly said another apartment number. When I took it to the office, four employees were sitting there, two texting. I barely got an Im sorry. -I had a package delivered. The tracking number stated the driver left the package in the front office and was signed. They checked and said it was not there. I showed her what the tracking number said, SHEREEN took my phone and told me Amazon was lying to me and I needed to contact them. They didnt check the closet again to make sure. They said Amazon deliveries are horrible. Management is aware of the situation and should work to resolve it. A MONTH LATER I got a call from the office saying they signed for a package. THE PACKAGE THEY TOLD ME THEY DIDNT HAVE A MONTH AGO. -Trash room is full of trash -Cigarette butts are constantly scattered on the grounds. Lease says smokers must be a certain distance from the building -Trash receptacles are constantly overflowing and smell as youre walking into the building -Certain entry doors are covered with cobwebs and dead bugs. -The hallway carpets smell like urine and are stain
A $300 a month price increase on a 2 bedroom apartment in the Dayton area after one year would throw some people off. We were one of them.
I dont believe I have ever written a negative review about a company, but this is the first time I have felt like I have needed to write one.
A couple months ago, a new company bought the apartment complex and everything has changed. You can tell that the only goal of this company is to suck more money out of you. They no longer accept packages at the front desk, so the halls are now littered with huge random packages - a pleasure around Christmas time, Im sure. With this and the tons of trash in the halls (which you can see from other reviews), I dont know how this wouldnt be a fire hazard.
They say they need to increase the price because of upgrades. If there are upgrades, we sure havent seen them. I think they painted a couple spaces that definitely didnt need it. You now also get to pay $75 for 1 parking space in the garage, even if you dont want one. Theres still a fountain that doesnt work in front of the complex. The pool didnt open for several extra weeks. Unless you use the front entrance, youll either be greeted by an overflowing, horrible smelling trash can and cigarette butts or a mix of spider webs and random bugs around the door.
They couldnt find anybody to live in this specific apartment until we moved in and they think it deserves a $300 increase? Granted, they did tell us they would knock it down to only $200 more a month since were good tenants. We have to hurry though because they said the company will only allow them to do this for 2 people (we still have 3 months left on this current lease).
I have a feeling that more reviews will be similar to this one once they continue rolling out the new leases. You hear talk outside around the pool and hangout areas from people complaining about the new management, but I think its only going to get worse.
