I am posting this to young people who may not have the resources to simply pay to have them go away. We moved in after selling our home and waiting for our child to graduate so they could stay at the same school. 1st day in, we have a Great Dane in the apt above us. We complain about the small horse above us and are told that they can't discriminate about dog breeds...even though their lease has a whole list of dog not allowed. They take your dogs DNA yet there are piles of dog poop everywhere that you have to dodge while walking your fur baby. Packages are stolen or ripped open on a regular basis. Ask for the check out list before signing a lease. Take my word for it, you will want to see it. You will not get your deposit back and owe money. We paid the 150.00 carpet cleaning fee, yes that's hidden in your lease. We paid to have the apt cleaned and still ended up owing nearly $700.00 because they had to replace the old carpet in both bedrooms that we paid to have cleaned. Kept the cleaning fee and charged us for new carpet. Oh and they send your final bill to a collection agency so they don't have to speak to you. We have a great credit score and to have to deal with bottom feeding debt collectors 15 days after moving out is disgusting. Just don't. I hope this helped.

The elevator is consistently broken, the power flickers and goes out occasionally thus causing the elevator not to work until someone comes to reset it. The bulk internet is slow and constantly lagging. The leasing company will nickel and dime you for everything. The parking, there isn't enough for the building and they claim that even though you may have to walk across a courtyard, that it is still considered available parking. Not convenient when it is cold and raining or you have groceries to carry in. The oldest buildings have been there long enough that things in the apartments need replaced yet they space out repairs / replacements beyond what they should be.

I moved into a brand new building, in less than 6 months the elevator has been down twice, both times with messages they were aware, however the second time it was down 4 days. When I inquired about it, I was advised the maintenance company was aware and should have fixed it. Then a few days later on the community wall is a notification to call maintenance for after hours issues. What good is that going to do since you were aware and still didnt do your job to follow up on the issue. The topper is a friend I referred received the $150 referral bonus instead of myself due to a clerical error, well 6 months later I have yet to receive it, and find out this MULTIMILLION dollar company is bullying my friend and told her she needs to pay back the error, or I will not receive my bonus. This is sad, pathetic and shameful that this company will not admit their mistake and accept responsibility. They also refuse to give me their corporate office information so I can escalate it further.

Pros: -The apartments have nice appliances. -The walking path and nature area is the top selling feature of these apartments. Cons: -The staff in the front office is very unprofessional. Be aware that if you have any issues with the Property Managers you are out of luck. Corporate will not speak with you so the Property Managers can treat you however they want. I have reached out to the BBB and still Corporate is not willing to resolve the problem professionally. The way this place is run is appalling. -Cheaply made for Luxury Apartments. -Smoking is allowed. It will bleed through your walls. My bedroom smells like smoke because my neighbors are allowed to smoke in their apartments. I should have checked that before I moved in, but assumed that new luxury apartments wouldn't allow smoking inside the premises. Overall I would not choose to live here again. The walking path around the apartment is beautiful, but it doesn't make up for the other issues.

UPDATE 08/21/19 - I went to the BBB regarding this matter, the company sent this a response regarding the agent Hailey the office staff and sent something that it is My fault they charged the pet fee. That doesn't make any sense. I explained to them I want to be refunded for my deposit etc. They refuse too still to this day. I would advise to think twice before moving into these places. I have no idea why they responded to this with a phone number to call back when they refuse to handle the issue. I already spoke with them and have E-mails. I will keep this going and update according. Around May 2019 and I applied and based on credit etc was accepted at the following apartments referred to as Heritage Preserve Apartments located in Hilliard Ohio for a move in date of August 01 2019. They looked very nice and I wanted and great customer service from the rental agent. However a few things were left out of our conversation that I had to send clarification E-mail's a few days later regarding the pet deposit and in addition regarding the additional cost associated with the advertised "free cable and internet" which isn't so free if you wish to have the very basic 5GBT to upgrade per AT&T universe it is a additional $45.00 dollars that information needs to be included upon viewing the apartments. In addition to this the fees were made quite unclear, I was first it was advised that application fee was free, then you had too pay " Admin Fee" $ 225.00 which they later tried to say was a holding fee which is it? Secondly I qualified for the lowest deposit $300.00 in which they asked for prior to move in which I thought was odd, if I was being charged a holding fee already but ok. Then the apartments stated hey didn't receive my medical information indicating that my pet is a therapy dog per the state level they are unable to charge a pet deposit. In which they still charged me $300.00 I paid it and they advised me they would refund in which they never did.

Terrible management and local property staff during my 5 months tenancy. I was there as my home was being built and arranged a short term lease, which was super expensive, but I agreed, based on my perception that this was a slightly upper level property. Management has no care for it's tenants. My home was completed 6 weeks early, so I notified management I would be moving out very early and they said they may be able to rent my place for the last month. I asked about paying the rent and they said let's see what we can do to get it rented for you. I followed up several times and was told it was being showed and hold on. On the last day they said no, so go ahead a pay. I did, through their portal, but it was 1 day late. $155 late fee! Corporate was not even willing to listen to why and the local "manager" no longer works for them...Steer clear
