Do not live here. Everything about this place is terrible, especially the staff and management. Simply awful, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Definitely need new management.....AGAIN!
I've been here three years and I regret my stay the longer I live here. I should've left when my last lease was up but decided to tough it out. They've had two different management companies in the duration I've been here and there's a new face every time I go to the office. Maintenance has one guy working for 360 different buildings so if something's broke, don't expect them to rush out to fix it, and most of the time they don't come at all. The buildings are cute, but they've been around so long that the upkeep just isn't worth it. I was told that our leaking, moldy basement is our problem, and that they can't do anything about it. Rent continues to increase to a ridiculous amount and with this new management, they got rid of the student discount. The pool doesn't open until a month into summer. Parking rules aren't enforced. It's just a headache. There are better, more affordable options in the area.
Do not recommend living in either flats or townhomes. I am a current resident of Arlington Village and I live in the 1.5 bath townhomes. The townhomes itself looks amazing, nice and spacious with a large basement and the townhomes pool is nice. That's all that's good about this place. The maintenance/office team is completely clueless and never have a reliable answer to most questions, every time I go in there there's someone new working so they cant keep employees at all. You put in a work order and it takes a month for them to answer IF they answer at all, it took three weeks for them to arrive to fix my AC, luckily we figured out how to fix it ourselves. Parking is terrible, you have an assigned parking spot but people will park there anyways. I have to give it to the office workers because I've heard Tricap is a terrible company and they're really hard on the workers so it's not their fault. But overall there are better apartment complexes out there and for $785 a month this is not worth it.
This is the worst rental place I have rented with. I asked them to fix many issues which because they didn't fix one, I now have an 800 dollar water bill and they refuse to pay it even though there the reason it's so high. Also if you do not give a 60 day notice they charge you two months rent even if your lease is up. I would not rent here. They are not about working with there tenets, more about money then anything else.
Staff are great, sloe response time on ordinary maintenance requests, quick responses on emergencies. Only some apartments are updated. I can barely use my kitchen sink with how low the faucet is.
