I recently moved from Sawmill Commons. When I was provided a renewal for my lease (which went up another$40) I was told I had to renew by the end of February and i was told there was no month to month lease options. So once I did not resign I considered that my notification of moving out. They still are charging me for an entire month which I was not in the apartment, plus a $200 month to month lease fee. During these times of financial uncertainty i find this to show the true character of this company. GREEDY, GREEDY, GREEDY.
Very professional and caring people. They make you feel comfortable and the community is safe and when I left in 2018 they started renovating a lot more.

-Huge storage unit on balcony
-An older apartment with need of some upgrades
-Not a lot of windows/light
-Kitchen is cut off from the rest of the apartment
We have been here a few days shy of one month and it is hands down the nicest apartment I have ever lived in. The neighbors are quiet, the pool is never over crowded and the office staff is friendly and helpful. The one bedroom apartment has lots of closet space and the bathroom is quite large for a one bedroom apartment. The only complaint I have is the slow flow water faucets they have installed. I like a brisk shower and the water comes out a bit too softly for my liking. If you're a pet owner, your dog will love the park located a few steps away and be sure to stop by the office for doggie treats, lol! Kroger, Walmart and Burger King, to name just a few are less than a ten minute walk and the cota route 33 is easily accessed from all the apartments. So far the grounds keepers have done an excellent job in keeping trees and bushes neatly trimmed and the garbage is picked up regularly, I have yet to see a mess around any of the dumpsters, they do seem to take pride in the communities appearance and I have to say the eye appeal is quite pleasant. Even though my stay here has been short, I have no problem recommending Sawmill Commons to any perspective renter.
