I would recommend Camden Place to anyone looking for a safe, clean and quiet community. I have lived here for 2 yrs without any issues.
Take LUXURY off the sign. Kitchen cupboards smelled. Model had painted white cabinets. Apartment had old worn pickled finish ones that were dirty.waiting for painting. Sinks, tubs, floors, light switches, air vents, windows not clean. Walls repaired, but not painted. Carpet was not replaced. It was cleaned, but large spot and some small ones remain. Expecting repairs within the month. 1 toilet working properly out of 2.!Toilets are short! They were replaced within a week. Garbage disposal was also repaired. Dryer vent clog was repaired. Everything should have been done BEFORE we moved in. Originally told would get a renovated apt. Then told just the carpet replaced. Then told 15 hours before move in, that carpet was only cleaned and a spot remained. Nothing luxury here.
Camden Place may look decent when driving through, but this place is in horrible shape. There are many other apartment complexes surrounding Camden Place that are new with modern furnishings, so do yourself a favor and skip this dump. Parking is a nightmare as is the staff.
This is in regards to whoever was working in the office at approximately 2:30pm on August 8, 2019. My partner and I drove a few hours to get to the Columbus area looking for apartments due to a future relocation. We decided to stop and look here to inquire and seek information. As soon as we walked through the front door we hear "I can't help you at the moment. You're gonna have to wait or come back." in probably the most absurd rude tone of voice. I mean I can understand is you're busy and/or a little behind, but the arrogance and the complete rudeness was totally uncalled for. She didn't even bother to offer a brochure or something to look at if we decided to wait. I have a few other words I'd like to say, but I really don't care to because you lost a possible future tenant. I no longer have an interest in your property due to the snobbiness of this individual. If this is how this person deals with potential tenants, how's she treat current residents? I usually let things like that go, but this one reallly ticked me off and it needs to be brought to the attention of someone. Don't bother replying to try to correct anything. I no longer have an interest in your apartments. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.
