Looking to down size from a house of 9 yrs. To an apt.

Do yourself a favor and don't even consider this place. I am not one to write bad reviews because I'd rather not day anything if I don't have anything nice to say. However, this place warrants it. I had roaches when I moved in, which they did get rid of. Shouldn't happen in the first place. The kitchen is beyond small. The paint job was horrific as in paint was all over. The bathroom sink leaked under the counter. And the toilet broke within the first couple months of living there. The bar is LOUD, parking is minimum and my car got egged while I lived there. Upon moving out, as quickly as I could, I was charged for the kitchen being stove and refrigerator being cleaned(though my daughter scrubbed the entire kitchen). They charged me $15 to fix 7 nail holes and $478.76 to replace the carpet in the downstairs only which isn't a large area. Finally, when I complained about noise from my neighbor, the manager claimed she spoke to my neighbors. When I finally spoke to them myself they confirmed that she had not spoken to them. Good luck if you choose to live here. Just make sure you have plenty of extra money when you move out. Worst experience of my apartment life!

I still live here but I have decided not to renew my lease. Unfortunately, I have a neighbor who is apparently too old and set in his ways to use headphones so he blasts his music all evening after work. Since the walls are so paper thin, the bass sound carries over into my apartment. When I brought my concerns to the property manager, she said she would talk to him but nothing ever changed. I was also treated very rudely by this resident when I personally asked him to turn it down. Management was unwilling to ask him to stop playing the music because its his escape. I could have been passive aggressive and made excessive noise because I know he goes to bed early but I never did that. So basically this resident gets to enjoy his home to the fullest extent, including quiet sleep and a quiet apartment after he turns his music off, but I have to suffer for hours after work because his music is his escape? I continued to bring the issue up to management because this man clearly does not want to communicate with me in a mature way. Every time I brought it up, I was told, well the other neighbors never complained and no one has ever complained about him before. I was treated like an inconvenience and made to feel like I am crazy. The only reason I don't give zero stars is because they make an effort to make it a nice community. Its too bad I was treated so poorly and my concerns were not taken seriously. My mental health has definitely suffered since I was not "heard" and made to feel like an inconvenience. This resident literally slammed the door in my face when I tried to talk to him. I really had the impression that they only care about this one resident and that I do not matter at all. Very little was ever done to fix this problem because this particular resident has lived there for a long time so apparently gets to do whatever he wants at my expense.
